It has also featured in numerous magazine articles throughout the world. The car was built to be FIA Appendix K legal (it has FIA documents, and will qualify for the latest “lifed” HTP documents if/when they are actually needed). It is also has a current V5C, full RACMSA Historic Rally Documents, and a current MSA log book covering its use for rallies, sprints, and hillclimbs, and is essentially UK road legal (a couple of MINOR changes would be necessary to comply fully to the letter of UK road legislation).
CNA 181C has a strong Andrew Thurgood built FIA Appendix K B18 engine that is completely FIA legal and has done less than 2 hours running since routine rebuild. It has been fitted with a brand new Facet Silver Top fuel pump and filter, the fuel system has just been completely cleaned through, and the correct, FIA mandated SU carburettors have just been completely overhauled and rebuilt by Pete Morgan. The “as new” Simons competition exhaust system and silencer is fully MSA noise compliant. Numerous other special competition parts by Stei
