1955-1967 VOLVO 121/122S specifications

1955-1967 VOLVO 121/122S specifications Classic and Performance Car

The 120-series brought Volvo cars to Britain as well as raised the marque’s profile elsewhere. Rugged and reliable, with handsome but traditional looks, the unburstable reputation, putting it in the same category as the Beetle on the worldwide stage. The 121 cars were the lower-specification four-door machines with less powerful engines, 122S versions had better performance and equipment levels, and were initially intended for export only. The Amazon name was officially only used in Sweden, but it seemed to suit the cars so the rest of the planet soon adopted it too.
