We are delighted to offer this top class, very rare 1964 VW Splitscreen Van onto the market. The VW spent much of its life in California and as a result has an exceptional bodyshell. This rare panel van has the desirable opening barn doors on both sides, all original panels and an exceptional clean underside. The Spitscreen has attended many shows and events and came 2nd in the 2008 VW Expo, took part in the 2011 Splitscreen Van Club Brighton Breeze and was featured in VW Ultra Magazine, a copy of which is in the extensive history file along with a CD containing pictures of the photo shoot. The article from 2007 confirms the VW came from California and confirms the Van has never required any panel work resulting in a truly superb original body.
