First registered on the 15th February 1966 this VW Beetle is in superb condition. Finished in Gambia Red with light grey upholstery, this car has been fully restored to its original condition and still using the 6 volt system. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and comes with a warranty. With only 9,500 recorded miles since new.and only three owners (the last one having bought it in 1986), this car has been looked after, loved and cherished. (SOLD) This 1965, Sea Blue 11 Window Kombi has limited ownership from new, with zero rust and 100% original paint. This bus has been garaged most of its life. Not only is it dry with original floors etc... but the paint is unfaded. This bus, as deep as it looks, has not been polished in 8 years to preserve the paint. The floors, in the areas where the original factory wax has flaked off, has smooth bare metal or factory paint. This is a one key locks all the vehicle. The headliner has 2 small holes, but it is original and therefore staying. It has brand new correct grey mesh seat covers. Mechanically it is spectacular currently with a Berg 1776 motor, crank, rods and heads with their deep sump and Oberg filter. There are no oil leaks, the bus has been sorted by Dave Greiner of Performance, and it sounds sweet, pulling like a train. It is still on reduction boxes and is stock height. Even the original blanking plate is included as no radio has been ever installed.
A very nice example of a Karmann Beetle Carbriolet finished in stunning red with matching red interior. Repainted a number of years ago the paintwork is in good condition with the odd age related mark here and there. Brand new hood fitted recently. Very strong reconditioned 1600cc Twin Port engine pulls like a train and is running on recently fitted twin weber carburetors, a very expensive but worthwhile upgrade on these engines increasing performance and fuel efficiency at the same time. Overall a good honest car with all the bells and whistles freshly MOT’d and serviced and ready for it’s new home.

FOR SALE A beautiful Volkswagen Beetle Cal Look ready for the show scene. EQUIPMENT Chrome window trim, opening quarter lights, chrome bumpers, bezel vents, chrome driver’s door mirror, chrome waist strip, chrome bonnet line, VW bonnet emblem, running boards, horn bar with Wolfsburg crest, interior light, assist straps, ashtray, headlight flasher, glove box, door pockets, twin sun visors, grab handle. Optional extras; Seat belts, push button radio. EXTERIOR This wonderful Beetle catches the attention immediately with its irresistible charm and huge fashionista following. Finished in Volkswagen Gulf Blue (code L390), the paintwork boasts a pleasing uniform finish and all panels have a deep shine. Minor paintwork imperfections are detectable to the sharp eye but certainly do not spoil the cars appeal. Structurally excellent, this Beetle has been preserved and is ready for summer outings and shows. The chrome sections are fully intact but show minor pitting. Correct features identified for a ’61 model year example include the older style push button door handles, narrow light housing above the rear number plate, red turn signals to the rear lamps and slant headlamps. The epitome of cool retro and ready for much beach front admiration! INTERIOR The Ivory leatherette upholstery to the original seats is spotlessly clean and the common trend for major interior modification has been thankfully avoided. The material to the driver’s seat base has stretched slightly, and fitments such as the grab handle and original steering wheel with horn bar and Wolfsburg crest shows an aged related marks. The door cards and headlining are excellent. All interior catches and controls are correct and operate well, although the original and optional push button radio is not connected. A minor suggestion of slight 61/62 model year crossover is suggested with the fitment of a mechanical fuel gauge, an upgrade introduced for the ’62 model year. A genuine unmolested interior, everything that made this car a true motoring icon. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The air-cooled rear mounted engine with correct electric automatic choke is housed in a clean engine bay with some trim enhancements for extra bling. The engine number prefix AD denotes a 1600cc unit with the addition of twin Empi 40 HPMX carburettors and Bugpack breather box, whilst the unmistakable VW Beetle engine note is emphasised with a sensible exhaust upgrade. The 4-speed gearbox synchronized on all forward gears operates perfectly offering light and precise progression throughout the range. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES A set of Empi Speedwell BRM wheels have been fitted and remain in virtually perfect condition. Quality branded tyres of size 135 R15 and 165 SR15 front and rear respectively have plenty of tread remaining. The original spare wheel is housed in a structurally solid under bonnet wheel well. A professionally lowered suspension set up along with the upgrade wheels create the ultimate California ‘Cal Look’. The hydraulic circuit braking system offers modest stopping power with firm pedal action a necessity, exactly as they were made! HISTORY FILE This 1962 registered Beetle was built in July 1961 in Germany and arrived in the UK in 2008 after a long period in Sweden. The history file contains the original Volkswagen handbook and some previous MOT certificates since its arrival in the UK along with a service invoice with only around 100 miles covered since. There is substandial documentation from the vehicles period in Sweden in the form of the Swedish MOT equilvalent, the Besiktningsresultat or ‘Inspection Results’ with several certificates dating back to the late 1980’s. Representing a mechanically superb and very well cared for example, this Beetle is wanting for nothing and is absolutely ready for the hugely popular classic VW scene. A joy to drive and look at, and perfect for those young or young at heart! MOT May 2017, Tax exempt, HPI Clear. Volkswagen Beetle cabriolet 1971 dark blue in very good condition
Reluctantly I may have to sell my immaculate Mk1 Gti Campaign in the rare colour of Helios Blue. The car currently has just over 144,000 miles on the clock. This car is in near immaculate condition,it was fully restored over a number of years some years ago by someone who went to great time and effort to get this car to be as good as new,he even only used nuts and bolts from VW!! This restoration included a full bare-shell respray and engine rebuild, the underside is just as clean as the rest of the car,it too was professionally treated. The interior is also unmarked with no rips or tears on the seats the headlining is perfect no sagging whatsoever.Original Blaupunkt radio still in the car and working great. The previous owner also Waxoyled in behind all cavities to preserve the car in this condition. I have a folder full of paperwork including invoices and receipts showing the thousands that was spent on this car and most Mot's from 1990. This is a genuine Campaign model first registered on 23rd November 1983,it has the green tinted glass, sunroof, extra lights in the grill (with the correct vertical lines in the glass) and also the original build sticker in the boot showing the code for the Campaign model. The genuine Pirelli P-Slots were also refurbished at great cost and are in excellent condition along with Pirelli P6000 rubber all round with plenty of thread left. This car has previously won 2nd place at the 2012 Mk1 Owners Club Annual Meet Show'n'Shine Best Engine category and also won the Club's Car of the Year Award in 2014. Just a few points to note, there is one very small bit of bubbling at the bottom of the front wing(About size of 1c) and a very hard to see little bit of bubbling on the rear 3/4 panel, again very very small. Also the MFA clock can be intermittent but is currently working correctly. These are very small imperfections in an otherwise top class car,I just wanted to point these out to any potential buyer just to be straight and upfront. Otherwise this car is in absolutely stunning condition especially in the rare Mk1 colour of Helios Blue which really shines when the sun is out. The car has also just had a full professional valet and wax in preparation for a show I took it to recently. Any person who is genuinely interested please ring after 6pm due to work or email me at any time. This is a chance to own a genuine Campaign in absolutely stunning overall condition and it's a car that has always been well minded and received anything it ever needed. Cars like this are becoming increasingly rare especially in the unique and rare colour of Helios Blue. Any inspection welcome. Thanks,
