This is the rare ultra desirable Austin Healey 3000 BN7 2 seater. Finished in red with a black leather trim the car is quite superb to look at. The Healey was manufactured in December 1959 and shipped to a dealer in Los Angeles California where it remained until being shipped back in 2015. The car then underwent a complete nut and bolt restoration and was also converted to RHD. The Heritage certificate that we have show’s that the car is matching numbers and that it was an originally fitted with overdrive from the factory that the car retains. During the Healey’s restoration for which we have a photographic record, the rebuilt engine was also fitted with the more desirable 3 SU carburettor up-grade that improves both performance and tractability. Sensibly the Healey was also converted to 12 volt. The car has only had 1 UK owner and since its restoration has only covered minimal dry mileage. The restoration has settled in well now underlining the depth and quality of the work undertaken at that time. The Healey is of course now MOT and Road Tax free. On the road the Healey performs exceptionally well, I think this is probably the best ‘big Healey’ I have driven in recent years, with the overdrive the car cruise’s effortlessly at modern speeds, or can be raucous and mix it up if required! The car has a one piece hood that when fitted folds down behind the seats, it also has a good set of side screens and a near new Tonneau cover. There are very few good Healey’s for sale and even less of the BN7 2 seaters for sale, as such this car is a wise ‘Blue Chip’ investment that can be enjoyed.
Here we have a fine Triumph TR6, this time an older restoration but a superb car and well mellowed. Being a 1974 this is one of the last TR6's to be built, this particular car has overdrive, chrome wire wheels and a sports exhaust. Finished in the very pleasing colour of Pimento red with black trim the car is a real dazzler. Mechanically the car is great and drives extremely well the paintwork is near flawless with no rust anywhere. The car has a massive history file including photos and invoices of work completed over the years including the restoration. The hood is in excellent condition and the TR6 has a tonneau cover and a hood envelope, there is also a workshop manual and three different steering wheels. The car has just been MOT'd and is ready to go for the rest of the summer. The price also includes 3 months parts and labour guarantee.
