Lotus Elan+2S130/4, 1971. L.H.D. Superbly restored example having had a nut & bolt restoration from the chassis upwards. Built at the factory in mid-1971 and registered in Germany in October 1972. The Lotus eventually ended up in Sweden where the restoration took place. The interior has been beautifully trimmed in soft black leather. New dashboard. Bristol 412 Series 2, 1978. Targa top convertible. Not been on the market for 12 years, this very rare example is the first example of the Series 2 of which around 28 were built. Body design by Carrozzeria Zagato of Milan. This car was first shown at the UK Motor Show at the end of 1977. The car been totally restored at a cost in excess of £80,000, with new leather seats and internal trimmings, carpets, new radio, bare-metal respray, new gearbox, radiator, brake servos, brake discs etc. All invoices available and the cherished 412 number comes with the vehicle. The targa top lifts off and neatly stows away in the boot and the De Ville rear quarters go down to give full 4 seater luxury convertible driving in this “Gentlemans’ Carriage”. An original, German built and factory supplied Left Hand Drive bus exported to Philadelphia where the bus has endured most of its life. Lotus Esprit S4S Turbo, 1995. Fabulous example in Norfolk Mustard with full Raven Grey interior with the factory glass removable targa sunroof. Air conditioning. Jaguar Mk2 3.8 Manual Overdrive, 1962. This striking Mk2 was first registered in January, 1962 and has the original engine. The original gearbox has been upgraded to “all-synchro”. All of the numbers are matching and the various invoices and numerous MOT certificates appear to substantiate the indicated mileage of 59k. This stunning example was restored in 2012 by renowned and highly respected company M and C Wilkinson of Doncaster, the family run business of Jaguar engineers and amongst the top specialists in the country today. They have been responsible for a number of rebuilds of period racing Jaguars and road cars. This example was stripped to its bare shell and carefully prepared for several coats of fresh paint. At the same time the engine was fully rebuilt and everything was done that was necessary. All of the suspension was rebuilt with new springs and shock absorbers. New tank and fuel lines at the same time. The brakes were upgraded with new master cylinder, new servo, “Coopercraft” calipers an the front and “XJ” brake calliper conversion at the rear. Lotus Europa Twin-Cam Special 5 Speed, 1975 (Sept.). One of the last few Europas and a very late registered one. Original Lotus alloys. Massive history file going back to the early days and bills from the likes of Europa Engineering/Banks Service Station, Daytune, Chris Foulds, Lakeside Engineering etc. Invoices detailing respray, re-trim in Connolly leather and Wilton Carpets. In Sept. 2015 the carbs were overhauled, 4 U/Js were replaced and output shaft seals etc. were done. Lotus Esprit Turbo Limited Edition No. 25 of 40, 1989. Just 46k miles and one family owner for 25 years since 1991. Three keepers in total. Lotus Esprit Turbo 1986. 29,000 miles from new! Stunning JPS black with gold decals. Beautiful sand coloured full leather interior and factory glass “targa” sunroof. Immaculate original BBS alloys. Built in September 1985 and registered in March 1986 as confirmed by the Lotus Archivist in the letter and Certificate of Provenance from the factory. Good history file which traces the very low mileage. A new clutch has been fitted and new exhaust manifold gaskets replaced. This example drives impeccably with plenty of turbo boost and smooth power of 230+bhp as can be seen from the dyno print-out in 2016. Lotus Elan Sprint DHC, 1973. Stunning in Red/White Gold-Leaf Team Lotus colours. Impeccably repainted a number of years ago. Lotus galvanised chassis and rebuilt engine which performs exceptional well. This is one I have personally driven over the last 3 years and it has been an exceptional experience. It ticks all of the boxes in terms of originality, looks, handling, braking and engine performance. It feels just right! This is the 20th from last Sprint ever produced. Massive history file with old MOT certificates going back to 1977 and a copy of the first registration document in 1973. Certificate of Provenance from Lotus Cars archive department and supporting letter to confirm the authenticity of if this very fine example. Has to be one of the best Sprints in existence in terms of all round appeal and quality with that extra ingredient that is difficult to describe. It has to be seen and driven to be fully appreciated. Original dashboard and instruments. Original leather-bound Colin Chapman signature steering wheel. The engine had a complete rebuild which is detailed in the history file and the Weber carbs fully overhauled. A stunning example which is very hard to find in this c
