TVR's wild Tuscan has become a seriously desirable modern classic.
TVR resurrected the Tuscan name for its next car, a riotously curvaceous two-seater coupé with a lift-out ‘targa’ roof panel and removable rear window (both of which could be stowed in the boot). Power came from 3.6- and 4-litre versions of TVR’s ‘Speed Six’ straight-six engine, in states of tune from 350 to 400bhp for the top-of-the-range 190mph S model. Right at the end of the production run, shortly before TVR sadly closed its doors, a Convertible was introduced, reckoned by many to be one of the best TVRs of them all. Add £10,000 for the Mk2.
