1988-1991 TVR 400/450SE specifications

These bigger engined TVRs succeeded the 390/420SE and were in effect glassfibre versions of the lightweight SEAC cars, aimed at those with a little less money and a little more sanity. Not that they were that much slower, as you can see from the figures. They can prove to be quite a handful on a wet road too, so it’s not a bad idea to check the car and its history for past accident damage. Interiors were improved, with better seats and materials, and more curves. TVRs were getting away from the hint of kit-car that had affected their earlier offerings.
