1955-1959 TURNER 803/950 Sports specifications

Jack Turner started out making specials, but such was the quality of his work that others would ask him to make cars for them. Before he knew it, he’d become a car constructor. The 803 and 950 Sports were powered by Austin A30 and A35 A-series engines, and suspension was by torsion bars and trailing arms. It was a simple but effective recipe, that appeared a while before the Austin-Healey Sprite. BMC ended up refusing to supply parts directly, pushing up the price of the final product, but like all Turners, it was available in kit form.
