1972 Triumph TR6. Sapphire blue with black leather upholstery and a black hood. This Triumph was built at the Canley plant in December 1971 and dispatched in January 1972 to British Leyland Motors in Denver Colorado. The TR spent the first twenty years of its life in the US until it was repatriated from Califorina in 1992 when it was purchased by Mr Potts of Durham. During this ownership the car was completely restored and converted to right hand drive and eventually re-registered in the UK in 1998. The car still has the original twin carburettor setup as supplied when new. Over the years the car has been subject to various upgrades which include new high back seats, Spax shock absorbers, K and N filters and a Moto Lita steering wheel. We have a history folder with the car which contains lots of bills, invoices and some old MOT certificates. The Triumph drives just as it should with a strong engine, good oil pressure and a smooth gearbox with overdrive. A fresh MOT will applied upon sale. This Triumph is now ready to use and just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. This is a vehicle that any enthusiast would be very proud to own and enjoy. Absolutely any inspection welcome. Please call us for any more information. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Delivery can be arranged.
