The TR4 (Triumph Roadster 4) was a car produced by Triumph from 1961 to 1965. During the design phase, the model had as its internal code the name "Zest". The TR4, which belonged to the category of sports cars, was based on the chassis and powertrain group of the previous sports cars belonging to the TR series, of which he picked up the legacy but with a displacement increased to 2138 cc with the same power of 100 hp. This, however, allowed the TR4 to be more fluid and fluid. The body line was new, and was designed by Giovanni Michelotti. The TR4 was a successful model. During the period in which it was produced, 40,253 copies were produced. The proposed car was imported to Italy in 1992, then registered with the current license plates in 1995. Pleasant driving style is equipped with chrome beam rims, fog lights, steering wheel, car radio, tonneau cover, luggage rack And fire extinguisher. The car has just been cut and will be delivered with regular regular revs. It has been polished with mirror effect with protective nanotechnology products with skin renewal treatment. The car is A.S.I approved and is equipped with the FIVA Identity Card.
The Triumph TR4 was introduced in 1961 and succeeded the TR2 and TR3. It was based on the chassis and drivetrain of the previous TR sports cars, but with a modern Michelotti styled body. 40,253 cars were built during production years. The TR4 proved very successful and continued the rugged, "hairy-chested" image that the previous TRs had enjoyed. The new TR4 body style did away with the classical cutaway door design of the previous TRs to allow for wind-down (roll-up) windows (in place of less convenient side-curtains), and the angular rear allowed a boot (trunk) with considerable capacity for a sports car. In 1965, the TR4A with IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) superseded the TR4. Apart from the rear suspension, which used trailing arms and a differential bolted to the redesigned chassis frame and a number of small styling changes and refinements, the two models appear nearly identical.
