1946-1949 TRIUMPH 1800/2000 Roadster specifications Classic and Performance Car

It’s impossible to write this without mentioning the Bergerac connection, especially as so many that come up for sale claim to have appeared in the Jersey-based TV detective series. There’s reasonable evidence to suggest that five cars did, but don’t pay a premium for one without checking its provenance. There were 1800 and 2000 versions, the former using a Triumph unit with a four-speed ‘box, the latter adopting more powerful Standard Vanguard running gear, though that means you only get a three-speed gearbox. The stiffer chassis and better brakes make up for it, though.
