1986-1993 TOYOTA Supra/Supra Turbo specifications

1986-1993 TOYOTA Supra/Supra Turbo specifications Classic and Performance Car

This was Toyota’s third incarnation of the Supra, but unlike the previous two, this ’New’ Supra was not directly related to the Celica. Available as a 200bhp normally aspirated in-line-six at launch, the turbocharged version arrived shortly after in 1987, boasting a more impressive 230bhp. The car was very advanced, and offered (as an expensive optional extra) a clever set of electronically controlled dampers. All the gadgets in the world could not disguise the car’s weight however, and for this reason the Supra was more of a grand tourer.
