  • ALFA ROMEO SPIDER 1989 Manual Blue Petrol 121000

    For sale
    £9,995

1989 Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0 S3. The Alfa Romeo Spider was manufactured from 1966 to 1993 and is widely regarded as a design classic, remaining in production for almost three decades. The three first series were assembled by Pininfarina in Grugliasco and the fourth series in San Giorgio Canavese; this was the last rear wheel drive Alfa Romeo. The Spider underwent a major styling revamp in 1983 which saw the introduction of black rubber front and rear bumpers. The front bumper incorporated the grille and a small soft rubber spoiler was added to the boot lid, which altered the exterior appearance of the car considerably. Various other minor mechanical and aesthetic modifications were also made and the 1600 car dropped the 'Junior' name. Metallic Blue with Magnolia sports upholstery and a black mohair hood. An original new vehicle import that was supplied new by Bell and Colville with the invoice on file along with another invoice when the car was re-sold in 1992. We have a large history file with the Alfa containing MOT certificates back to 1992 which was its first test. Also a large amount of bills and invoices with the most recent in August 2017 from Pro Alfa for GBP 927.60 for a new exhaust, front control arms, bushes, links and new door mirrors. The Spider has an MOT until March 2019 with no recorded advisories. The paintwork is very good with the car still displaying a good sheen with no signs of rust or rot, the mohair hood free from any tears and water tight with a clear rear window and the interior trim and door cards free from any rips or tears and in good all round order. The car starts on the button and drives very well with a strong 2.0 litre twin cam engine with good oil pressure mated to a smooth five speed gearbox. The car is extremely fun to drive and is a good all round sports car. These are quick and competent cars with typical Alfa flair and very very enjoyable. The Alfa Spider is regarded as one of the best looking convertibles that is very usable daily or just for weekend pleasure. As it was said on a series of Top Gear program 'you are not a true classic car enthusiast until you have owned an Alfa'. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. • JAGUAR MARK II 1961 Manual Green Petrol 76000

    For sale
    £36,995

1961 Jaguar MK II 3.8 Manual Overdrive. British Racing Green with Green leather upholstery and Chrome Wire Wheels. One of the most readily recognised cars of the 1960s thanks in part to countless appearances in films and on television, Jaguar's seminal Mark 2 saloon set the standard for the class throughout its entire production life and today remains highly prized by enthusiasts. Its immediate predecessor - the 'Mark 1' - had been introduced in 1956 and is of historic significance, being the Coventry firm's first unitary construction saloon car. The Mk2 offered better all-round visibility courtesy of larger windows, while the Mk1's rear wheel spats disappeared and the rear track was widened, which improved both roll-resistance and stability. The dashboard was redesigned with the speedometer and rev counter relocated in front of the driver, the six toggle switches and four minor gauges being set across the centre. Independent front suspension was by wishbone and coil springs, with a leaf-sprung live axle at the rear. This, combined with superior Dunlop disc brakes all round and a choice of 2.4, 3.4, or 3.8-litre XK engines, provided the discerning, enthusiast driver with one of the finest sports saloons available in the 1960s. In its ultimate, 3.8-litre, overdrive-equipped form, the Mk2 could reach 125mph with 60mph coming up in 8.5 seconds, impressive figures for a saloon of its size even by today's standards. Although there was a slight performance penalty with the optional Borg-Warner automatic transmission installed, the '3.8' in this form was an increasingly popular choice, particularly in the North American market. Representing the Jaguar Mark 2 in its ultimate 3.8-litre/overdrive configuration, this car was first registered to the previous owner in April 1991 having been extensively restored. The Jaguar has given much pleasure and never let the previous owner down. The Jaguar is fitted with power steering and makes the car a pleasure to drive, easily keeping up with modern traffic and very capable of long journeys. Still looking beautiful today and just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Delivery can be arranged.

  • MG TF 1954 Manual Red Petrol 69000

    For sale
    £27,995

1954 MG TF. MG Red with Biscuit leather upholstery. The first post-war MG, the TC, bore great similarity to the pre-war TB and was superseded by the TD in 1950. Though visually similar to the earlier cars, it was built around the more modern chassis of the Y-Type Saloon, and it was around the uprated MKII TD that the TF of 1953 was based. Intended as an interim model pending the arrival of the upcoming MGA, its fared-in headlights and sloping radiator grille ensured more modern looks, and for the last year of manufacture the engine capacity was increased to 1,466cc. Just 3,400 of these so-called TF 1500s were ultimately produced. It was repatriated back to the UK in 2017. A back to chassis restoration has been carried out some years ago and the car is still in outstanding condition. The previous owner had been looking for the best example he could find and eventually settled on this car cherishing it in his ownership. The car drives and performs well, having always been garaged and comes with a fresh MoT upon sale even though the MG is exempt. This endearing little car would seem like a good way into MG ownership, being in ready-to-go condition with lots of enjoyable miles (and smiles) still on offer. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. • AUSTIN HEALEY FROGEYE SPRITE 1959 Manual Red Petrol 0

    For sale
    £14,995

1959 Austin Healey Sprite MK I Frogeye. Burgundy with black upholstery and black side screens. Designed by Donald Healey in partnership with BMC, the MkI Sprite was launched in 1958 and proved such a hit that it spawned a whole new generation of imitators from rivals like Triumph and MG. Based around humble A35 underpinnings, it inspired huge public affection due to its lively road manners and cute 'Frogeye' styling – a happy accident that only came about because the pop-up headlights that the car was designed for proved too costly to mass produce and were changed at the last minute to the fixed pods that so define the car today. This charming Frogeye Sprite has been with its last keeper for 17 years and during this time he has rebuilt the car with all of the bills and invoices in the history file. The Healey has been fitted with the larger 1275cc engine which makes the car a lot more alert and sprightly than the 948cc engines and is really fun to drive on country lanes. The paintwork presents very well and the interior in super condition with no signs of wear. The black hood is in very good order as are the side screens. On test drive the car performed very well with a strong engine pulling well and a smooth gearbox. The car comes complete with a large history folder containing old MoT's and various bills and invoices along with a drivers handbook and original workshop manual. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit cards accepted. Delivery can be arranged.

  • MG MGB 1964 Manual Blue Petrol 12000

    For sale
    £15,995

1964 MGB Roadster MK I Pull Handle. This very rare and desirable Pull Handle is beautifully presented in Iris Blue with Blue Leather piped upholstery. Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MG B would turn out to be one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the ‘B’ carried on MG’s traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The B was mechanically similar to the preceding MG A, though with heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer’s increased weight the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1622 to 1798cc, while the MG B’s aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just bested the magic ‘ton’. This is an original UK right hand drive car that has been with its last owner for 17 years, during this time it has been little used and cherished. The car was restored some years ago and is still in beautiful condition today. The MG has a lovely clean bodyshell with straight panels, very good fitting doors and great panel alignment. Whilst on test drive to take the photographs the MG performed very well with a great engine pulling well through the rev range and displaying good oil pressure. The MG is a great drivers car that is extremely fun to drive with super handling and this one is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. This car still retains its original features including steering wheel. The car has an MOT until May 2019 with no advisories. Absolutely any inspection is welcome and viewing is highly recommended. For sale
    £18,995

1972 Triumph TR6 PI 150 BHP. Blue with black upholstery. tThis super TR benefits from the full power 150bhp engine and overdrive gearbox to make the most of its ample performance. As the Heritage Certificate confirms, it was built in August 1972 and was sold to its first owner via Mann Egerton of Colchester two months later. Supplied with a large file of invoices charting regular upkeep over the last 25 years, it appears to have had an engine rebuild in the summer of 1993 (with invoices on file for new main bearings etc) since when it has covered around 25,000 miles as documented by 27 old MOTs back to 1990. It has also been uprated in numerous areas over the years including the fitment of a rollover bar; TriumphTune alloy rocker cover; sports coil; rev limiter; heat-wrapped six-branch exhaust manifold; twin stainless steel sports exhausts; electric cooling fan; Bosch fuel pump; polybushed suspension; adjustable front gas shocks; additional front driving lamps etc. In 2007 the interior was retrimmed with new carpets and black leather seat covers and inertia reel seat belts have also been fitted. A neat security feature is a fuel pump cut-off switch hidden in the ashtray on top of the dash and a red flashing light on the centre console to ward off thieves when parked up with the hood down. Starting promptly and running sweetly as we took it for photographs, it also sounded fantastic. Supplied with a mohair hood and tonneau cover, it also has an indoor car cover, an owner’s handbook and an MOT valid until March 2019. Much enjoyed during the current seven-year ownership, this discreetly uprated TR6 will no doubt bring a great deal of pleasure to its new owner in the coming summer months. 1972 MG Midget MK III. 1275cc. Tartan red with black upholstery and a black hood. This stunning red example dates from August 1972 and comes with a huge file of invoices going back almost 25 years to show regular maintenance and improvements during this time. Virtually every single part of the car appears to have been rebuilt or replaced at some point and it is impossible to cover everything here. To highlight just a few of the major works: bodywork restored and repainted in 2003/06; new brakes and suspension in 2004/05; major mechanical overhaul and new wiring loom in 2009; endless new trim items in 2010; unleaded head in 2011; gearbox rebuild, new clutch kit and work to the front suspension in 2012. You only need to look at the car to see that all the work has been done to a high standard and a cursory glimpse at the underside is equally reassuring. It really does look like a new pin with sparkling paintwork and an interior that still looks almost showroom fresh. Apart from the vast pile of bills, other documentation includes many old MOTs back to 1992, an original owner’s handbook, parts catalogues. We have an invoice on file for work on the car and engine less than 1,000 miles ago for $6500 in California. The car has been in the UK since 2016 and was supplied to the last owner by 911 Design. The price of the 911 is rising rapidly and we see this car as a good value Porsche. Absolutely any inspection is welcome and viewing is highly recommended. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Delivery and shipping can be arranged.

New and un-registered MGTF 135 with only 94 delivery miles. Platinum Silver with Black Sebring Upholstery and a blue hood. This 2002 model MG can only be described as time warp, it is in effect a new car having covered less than 100 miles and never registered. The car was purchased by its first owner for his daughter. Due to a separation the daughter never received the car and until now has been in a private collection as a pure investment. The TF comes complete with its factory build sheet and V55 form should you wish to register the car, we can assist you with this process. We are also able to offer delivery or can put the car into secure long term storage for you. Both sets of keys are with the car and please note this is a home market U.K right hand drive car and not a later Chinese model. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Please contact us for any further information. Delivery and shipping can be arranged.
