1986 Porsche 944 Turbo Coupe. Following the international success of their nimble 924, Porsche designed an all-alloy, 2.5-litre inline-four for their new 944 which they planned to introduce in 1982. Their talented engineers were able to produce a very smooth running four-cylinder engine by utilising two counter-rotating balance shafts running at twice engine speed. The result is a large four-cylinder engine that feels as turbine-smooth as a six. Cosmetically, the 944's bodywork was revised with wider wheel arches (similar to that of the 924 Carrera GT), a fresh interior and upgrades to the brakes and suspension. With greater visual presence and the performance to match, better handling, stopping power and more creature comforts, the 944 was a natural step forward. A 'turbo' version of the 944 was always on the cards, and for the 1985 model year, Porsche introduced the 944 Turbo, known internally as the 951. Forced induction boosted the 2.5-litre engine by a healthy 60bhp, up to 217 bhp, with the clutch and gearbox uprated to suit. The Turbo also featured several other changes, such as improved aerodynamics, notably an integrated front bumper, standard external oil coolers for both the engine and transmission, standard 16-inch wheels (optional forged Fuchs alloys), and a slightly stiffer suspension set-up. The Turbo's front and rear brakes were borrowed from the Porsche 911, with Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers and 12-inch discs and ABS was also standard. ;This beautiful car is a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo Coupé, and is a C16 (UK-supplied) right hand drive example. Finished in the classic Porsche colour combination of Guards Red with a Black leather interior, this car has been very well cared for and has been the recipient of much expenditure over the last four years, with many parts having been either replaced or fully reconditioned. The result of all this work means this enthusiast-owned car has won two Concours d'Elegance trophies for ‘Best Sports Car’ in 2015 and the 2nd place at a Porsche Owners’ Club competition in August 2017. This show-winning standard really belies the indicated mileage of 110,000, aided further by the reassuring presence of a fully stamped-up service booklet, a large file of invoices, and its original jack and tool-roll – small but important details that point to dutiful ownership. This is a simply lovely example of one of the most sought-after Porsches from the 1990s. The 944, the 968 and even the 928 are seeing their values rise in the wake of the '911 explosion' and front-engined Porsches are having the renaissance they richly deserve. This prize-winning example is very competitively guided and could open the door into a very exclusive club. Absolutely any inspection welcome. Viewing is highly recommended and we know you wont be disappointed. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Delivery and shipping can be arranged.

1966 Vauxhall PC Cresta Deluxe 3294cc. Grecian White with Black upholstery. The last of the series, the PC, was introduced for the London Motor Show in October 1965. No longer offered as a lower spec. Velox version, it was designated PCS (standard), PCD (Deluxe) and PCE (Executive), this last having its own name, 'Viscount'. It was a different car, larger and styled with the coke-bottle look that would also be seen in the FD Victor series: Initially, the three-speed column-shift manual transmission was standard with optional overdrive; four-speed manual and two-speed Powerglide were also optional. The De-Luxe version had four headlamps instead of the two fitted on the (much rarer) base models. This Cresta is in all round beautiful condition and has most recently had the interior re-trimmed to a very good standard. The previous keeper was told by the owners club that they regard this car as one of the best. The car starts and drives just as it should and will be sold with a fresh MOT. This beautiful TR4 is an increasingly rare find nowadays as it is a UK supplied right hand drive car with a factory Surrey top. A full re-chroming of all of the brightwork also took place and this is all documented by photographs in the history file and then in 2015 the cylinder head was rebuilt enabling the car to run on unleaded fuel without the need for additives. The TR further benefits from a Phoenix exhaust and manifold, electronic ignition and a Petronix coil. The car runs extremely well and has a lovely throaty engine note, it drives just as it should with no faults. 1965 Austin Gipsy G4 M15 Pick-Up. Just releasede from a private collection. This Austin has a BMIHT certificate showing build date of 13th April 1965. Bought new by Richard Renfrew of New Farm, Knightcote, Leamington Spa. In service until about 1985 when it was barn stored. Recorded mileage is 30,000. Acquired by the present owner on 13.02.02. The 2199cc petrol engine came from the Austin A70 Hereford car. This Gipsy has the traditional leaf spring suspension. "Flexitor" rubber trailing arm suspension and the "London Taxi" 2178cc diesel engine were options. These vehicles had a strong and durable chassis but the steel bodywork was very prone to rusting. This one was no exception and was fully restored in 2003 where it has remained in a private collection ever since. As Land Rover was a direct competitor and the preferred option the Austin Gipsy was discontinued. This car really is a credit to its former owner and just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. Please call for any further information. Absolutely any inspection welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Part exchange welcome. Delivery can be arranged.
