A small historic racing car like this Sunbeam Imp is the perfect introduction into the world of classic car competition. This is a very well prepared racecar, constructed following FIA homologation form 5161. It comes with FIA HTP, and is eligible for most national and international historic championships.
The finish of this little Sunbeam is unusually good for a racecar, and even better then many restored road cars. The Imp is prepared by Danish competition specialist NJ Motorsport, and equiped with an original Hartwell engine and Jack Knight close ratio gearbox. The car has a much improved cooling system, and the ignition is now an electronic Luminition system. Inside, everything looks as new, and all safety gear is FIA approved and still within the expiry date. As the engine is installed behind the rear axle, there is plenty of traction, and the driving experience is comparable to a Renault Gordini or Abarth TC1000. Total weight of the car is less then 700 kg, which promises some exhilarating performance figures.
