1963 Sunbeam Alpine Series 111
The Sunbeam Alpine Series cars were introduced in 1959, and were developed from the Rootes Group range of saloon cars as Rootes answer to the MGB and other British Sports Cars. They were originally fitted with a 1500cc engine, and eventually in the series 1V fitted with a 1725cc engine.
The Alpine we have for sale here is fitted with the later 1725cc engine. Its finished in white with a stunning red interior and a black hood. Its also fitted with Wolfrace style wheels and has just had four new tyres fitted.
The previous keeper, a retired, time served motor mechanic has owned the car since 1995. It’s a car that might enjoy a little tinkering, but it drives superbly.
