Vehicle Description Engine Capacity: 3500 Transmission: Manual It was the end of 1987, and Argentinian driver Oscar Larrauri was in a spot of bother. He was the protégé of Juan Mañuel Fangio; he had been the European F3 champion as far back as 1982 for the Euroracing team; since 1984 he had been enjoying success in Porsche sports cars run by Walter Brun; but, most of all, he was 33, and with each passing season his F1 aspirations were diminishing. But then he had an idea: bring Brun and Euroracing together to jointly form a Grand Prix team in a time when big ambitions and not big budgets were enough to get you started. And so EuroBrun was born. Introduced halfway through 1989 the new car, the ER189, arrived in time for the German GP, and so too did a sponsor in the form of Jägermeister, which painted the attractive new machine in its famous orange colours. However, even for the rest of the year there was only one ER189 chassis, and the team had to keep taking one ER188B to each race as a spare. And, considering the reliability problems associated with the untried ER189, that spare often had to come into use. Part of the ER189 also had to be remade after the initial roll-hoop behind

Vehicle Description Having been the feature car on the cover of 911 & Porsche World, this has been dubbed ‘The Ultimate 930’. Having an obsession with the 930 as a child, the previous owner made it his mission to produce a 930 with the performance of a modern day GT2. To achieve this goal, the 930 had an engine transplant with a 993 Turbo as well as having the ECU remapped, which then gave the 930 the performance it needed. Once the engine performance was there, the next step was to upgrade the car to match it’s new found power. Some upgrades include:- • Full RS Tuning 520PS kit fitted with sealed RS Tuning ECU, details are here http://www.cargraphic-ms.de/index.php?/s,6,7,18,713,1290,1052/&start=3 • Arrow con-rods • Manual (solid) rockers • G50-50 turbo gearbox from the 1989 930, so very rare 5 speed box. The F430 Spider’s all-aluminium bodywork and chassis have also been carefully strengthened, to guarantee both occupant safety and the structural rigidity demanded by a car of such high performance. Two very robust steel roll-bars are integrated into the windshield structure to guarantee maximum occupant protection. The electric hood is fully automatic and folds away under its own flush-fitting tonneau cover, allowing Ferrari engineers to hone the aerodynamics of the car with the hood down. Created by Pininfarina, the F430 Spider is inspired by the car’s exceptional engineering and Formula 1. The nose, which is characterised by two distinctive air intakes, draws inspiration from the Ferrari 156 F1 that Phil Hill drove to his F1 World Championship title in 1961.
