1963-1977 ROVER P6 2000/2200 specifications

1963-1977 ROVER P6 2000/2200 specifications Classic and Performance Car

In the UK the Rover and Triumph 2000 pairing created the executive car class as we know it today. Less bulky than the luxury cars of old, but just as comfortable, and a whole lot more economical. But when it first appeared, the P6 was rather radical, with its skeletal structure and modern styling. The company gambled that it would appeal to traditionally conservative Rover customers, as well as attracting new ones. It worked, and the Rover P6 went on to become a huge success. It was a none too shabby, if improbable, rally car, too.
