1957-1959 ROVER P4 105R/S specifications

1957-1959 ROVER P4 105R/S specifications Classic and Performance Car

Top dogs in the Rover P4 range, the R and S models boasted the most power, and easily topped the magic ‘ton’. Introduced in 1956, the P4 105R and P4 105S shared the same engine as the P4 90, but had a high compression cylinder head and twin SU carburettors to boost power to a very respectable 108bhp. The R and S designations referred to their transmissions – the 105R featured a Roverdrive automatic transmission, while the 105S had a four-speed manual with overdrive. Both were luxuriously equipped and are in demand among marque fans. Prices are for 105S, deduct roughly a third for 105R prices.
