- Customised by Barry Meeson and featured in Mini Magazine (Oct 2002) - Red / Blue upholstery, upgraded stereo, tuned 1293cc engine, Hi Los suspension - Dyno sheet showing 72hp, MOT'd till July 2016 Further Info: Beginning life as a 1990 Mini Mayfair, 'H852 JVR' was extensively upgraded and customised by previous keeper Barry Meeson. Featured in the October 2002 issue of Mini Magazine, the car received attention to its bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, suspension, wheels and replacement 1293cc engine etc. Although, the Mini Magazine article mentions that the uprated engine 'produced 72bhp at the wheels and a very useful 91 at the flywheel', it has since been re-tuned for better economy. As such a more recent dyno report on file (September 2006) measured engine power at the flywheel to be 72.7hp. A former pride of ownership category award winner, this appealing Mini is offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until July 2016. PLEASE NOTE: The dyno report which accompanies this lot quotes the measured engine power as 72.7hp at the flywheel and not 72bhp at the wheels.
