Jaguar Land Rover will offer more than 200 unwanted items in a special Affordable Classics auction at Bicester Heritage.
Brightwells has announced details of an upcoming ‘Affordable Classics’ auction, which will see the sale of around 200 items – around half of which will be cars – from Jaguar Land Rover’s extensive collection. Scheduled to take place on 21 March 2018, the all items will be sold with no reserve.
This follows on from the company’s purchase of the vast collection of Dr Robert Hull back in 2014. While this included a large number of Jaguars, which was one of Hull’s greatest passions, the collection was also made up of other British cars – and a few from other countries.
As you might expect – given the name of the auction – the cars on offer are not likely to be particularly expensive, although there are quite interesting items. As well as cars, there are a significant number of pedal cars offered in the sale.
Matthew Parkin, head of Brightwells Classic Cars said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to have been asked by Jaguar Land Rover Classic to auction part of their significant classic collection. Focussing solely on non-Jaguar Land Rover products, the diversity of the lots on offer is extraordinary, offering everything from a Riva-style Speedboat to the unique Scimitar Ferguson prototype – all at No Reserve – it’s going to be a lot of fun’
