1973 Rover P6 2000 SC Saloon manual. Mexico brown with bronze leather upholstery. Supplied new by Charles Clark and Son of Walsall in June 1973 this beautiful Rover has covered just 36,000 miles from new and has a large history file containing bills, invoices and lots of old MoT's to back up the mileage. The original book pack is present and complete including the all important Passport to Service book. The car really is a credit to its previous owner with no expense spared and the car wanting for nothing. The paintwork is in fine order with no signs of any rust or rot. The Bronze leather interior is in fine shape and the spare wheel in the boot has never been used. An insurance valuation report from May 1999 when the car had covered some 30,400 miles gives it a glowing report in all 15 areas assessed (scoring 1,449 points out of a possible 1,500) and valuing it at GBP 6,500 even then, 18 years ago. It comes with a large history file including all its original handbooks; many invoices (including a new clutch kit in July 2004 at 34,285 miles and a brake overhaul in February 2016 just a few miles ago); a workshop manual and parts manual; a Heritage Motoring Films video about the 2000 range plus much technical literature relating to the model. There are also four sets of keys and even an original Rover 2000 factory issue tie! The Rover drives as you would expect for such a low mileage car, it flew through its MOT in March 2017 with no advisories recorded. Easy to maintain and beautifully designed and built, these are fine cars and you would be hard pressed to find a more original and rust-free example anywhere. We think this is a car that any collector or enthusiast would be pleased to own. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted.
