The paint has a bright uniform finish and a pleasing polished shine. All factory panels are remarkably well preserved with only a few light dings, entirely commensurate with garage storage and just 37,527 miles covered. Minor paintwork blemishes can be seen upon inspection and there is a light impression to the rear bumper. Having been stored under cover the trims section are well preserved and show no UV damage or fading. Originality seekers with be impressed with the supplying dealer number plates, rear screen sticker and gold chassis tag in the windscreen. This well-appointed SLi model was a desirable choice within the Rover 200 Series range and once a common sight on our roads, and this rare survivor displays its low mileage credentials with pride. INTERIOR A typically plush interior as to be expected from Rover, the Renaissance upholstery in Granite colour scheme, (Code LOY), is beautifully clean as you would expect from a car of such low mileage. The seats are in superb order with firm bolsters retaining all shape and only slight loosing of the material to the driver’s seat lower bolster. The carpets, door cards and trim are in excellent order. The fascia is immaculate and all functions and controls operate perfectly including the original Rover R652 stereo cassette. The Rover Group build plate remains affixed to the lower inner nearside B-pillar. A spacious, airy and very comfortable modern classic, and awfully patriotic! ENGINE & TRANSMISSION Fitted with the K-Series 16v double overhead camshaft engine with electronic multi-point fuel injection, this 1396cc unit develops 102bhp at 6000rpm and 127Nm torque at 5000rpm. This is enough to achieve a top speed of 112mph and 0-60 is dealt with in respectable 10.5 seconds. With responsive acceleration and a civilised driving manner, the driving characteristics were very well regarded and helped this 200 Series to become a huge success for Rover throughout the late 1980’s and 90’s. The engine bay is very clean and displays factory stickers and bulkhead chassis stamp. Gear changes via the 5-speed manual box are light and precise, affirming once more the cars low mileage credentials. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES The standard 14” wheels remain dressed with the original SLi wheel trims which are fully intact and show only faint markings. The 175/65 R14 tyres have good tread remaining and the spare wheel has the original Pirelli P2000 tyre which is housed alongside the polystyrene moulding which has the factory supplied jack and brace. Diagonally split and dual-circuit servo assisted brakes offer assured straight line stopping power. HISTORY FILE Supplied new on the 29th September 1993 by Rover Main Agents, G Kinsbury of Middlesex, this example was purchased as a dealership demonstrator at just one year old by retired Navy Officer, Mr Anthony Waller, who is listed in the service book as the first keeper. Mr Waller kept the car for 19 years and his Navy Coat of Arms badge remains in the windscreen. In 2013 the car was passed to his Son, Bernard Waller, who is the last recorded keeper. The original Rover document wallet houses all handbooks, guides and dealership literature as well as the service book containing six stamped entries, all from the supplying Rover main dealer, G Kinsbury. Three sets of Rover keys with G Kinsbury keyring and an original sales brochure complete the history file along with some previous MOT certificates and invoices. This lovely car is perfect for any Rover enthusiast wanting a well preserved and useable example ready for classic car shows and functions. MOT June 2019, HPI Clear. 1991 Mini Cooper 1.3. Monte Carlo Red with Black cloth upholstery. White roof and wheels. This Mini was imported from Japan in 2013 and has been with the same owner since. The Cooper has covered just 29,000 kms which equates to 17,000 miles. It has a great specification which includes air conditioning, Minilite style alloy wheels, bonnet stripes, sports exhaust and clear lenses. The car has had very little use while it has been in the U.K but has just passed an MOT through to March 2019 with no advisories. The Cooper starts on the button and drives just as it should. Low mileage examples are becoming harder to find now and we see this car as a great opportunity to get into the classic car scene. A collectable Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 with just 5,791 miles from new. EQUIPMENT Chrome brightwork, twin coachlines and decals, Mini winged badges, derivative and GB boot badges, large body coloured wheelarch extensions, cream faced instrument gauges and dials, analogue clock, alloy gearknob, alloy door furniture, driver’s airbag, Perimetric anti-theft alarm with passive engine immobiliser and remote activation. Special Cooper 500 Equipment Pack; Platinum Silver roof, door mirrors, and bonnet stripes, alloy fascia, special edition plaque, high level third brake light. Special Edition Gift Box; Sewing kit, penknife, fragrance canister with syringe, cap, fleece, T-Shirt, satchel, signed authenticity certificate. EXTERIOR This outstanding and highly collectable classic Mini Cooper 500 is verified by the Cooper Sport 500 Register as number 128, making it the 373rd last Mini ever made. Finished in factory original Solar Red with contrasting Platinum silver roof resulting in a combination paint code of WNR, this one of just 110 cars produced in this colour. The factory paintwork is exceptional and entirely commensurate with the incredibly low mileage, and has further benefitted from enthusiast ownership and heated storage from new. The car is preserved in almost new condition in every respect. The pristine factory fitted glass, lights and badges remain manufacturer standard, and features such as the high level third brake light, supplying dealer sticker and tax disc holder remain. The ultimate collectors piece for the Mini connoisseur. INTERIOR These late Mini Coopers were lavishly trimmed, particularly so in the final ‘500’ celebration model. The full leather interior in Black and Nickle Silver, (Code WNP), is in perfect condition with no wear whatsoever. The leather steering wheel still has full colour and defined natural veins, a pleasing feature found only on such low mileage cars. The matching carpets and door cards are perfect, as is the leather padded dashboard and contrasting alloy finish fascia. All cream faced dials and gauges, together with other interior functions are in full working order, including the original Mini branded stereo cassette. Most importantly, the metal plaque fitted to the inner glove box lid states, ‘This Mini is one of the last 500 built to the original Sir Alec Issigonis Design’. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The final production cars utilised the 1275cc unit mated to Multi-Point fuel Injection to lower emissions and noise and increase performance, a revision that is truly evident in this example. Factory standard both mechanically and aesthetically, even down to the original exhaust, the engine bay displays factory plates, stickers, MG Rover service parts and even the usually discarded yellow coolant advice disc! The standard four speed gearbox is smooth, precise and a pleasure to use. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES The original 13in sports style alloy wheels which were standard on the Cooper Sport 500 are unrestored and essentially as new. The factory fitted Dunlop SP Sport 3000 175/50/R13 tyres are free from cracking and retain excellent tread. The unused spare wheel and Pirelli Cinturato CN54 tyre with factory chalk marks rest alongside the original jack and Mini pouch in the immaculate boot area which still displays factory date stickers! The servo assisted brakes incorporating front discs and rear drums bring this lively little car to an assured halt. HISTORY FILE The build date of this example is recorded on the Cooper Sport 500 Register as the 18th September 2000 with first registration on 24th January 2001. The supplying Rover Main Dealer was Epsom Motor Group Limited with the first lucky owner being a Mr Peter Lloyd. The emphasis is placed on ‘lucky’ as such was the hype and fanfare around the final 500 cars, demand far outstripped supply! The original order form and subsequent sales invoice made out to Mr Lloyd confirms the price paid of £10,500, with an interesting discrepancy between him originally ordering a British Racing Green car but changing his mind to Solar Red. Collectors and enthusiasts alike will be pleased to see documentation such as the Mini Assembly Classic Final Audit Sheet, welcome letters to Mr Lloyd from Rover and even a memo sent out to all dealers advising that allocation of cars will not be automatic but instead based on secured customer orders, due to demand. The history box file contains previous MOT’s certificates and invoices as well as the full book pack including service book. Importantly, a valuation certificate from David Hollis at the British Mini Club dated September 2017 verifies the cars authenticity and places an insurance value of £25,000. The previous owner, Mr Roger Coe, who has several low mileage Minis including vans and pick-ups is a serious Mini collector. Further enhancing the huge appeal of this example is the entirely complete gift box which even still has the individual corrugated card Mini gift boxes and wrapping tissue all contained within the cardboard box sent to the Dealer. A very rare find as most have been discarded or were reputedly held back by some Rover Dealers! Finally, the ‘Certifiable Fun’ certificate signed by John Cooper and Kevin Howe and presented with each car remains in the file. Look no further for the ultimate tribute to Sir Alec Issigonis’ ingenious and hugely influential design. MOT July 2018, HPI Clear. AMAZING RESTORED EXAMPLE Brand Rover Type 3500 P6 Color Blue Interior Black Year of build 1972 Price € 28.500,- 1977 ROVER P6 3500 V8 Extremely nice and amazing restored example Original delivered in Holland Superb (original) color combination Amazing driving example The 3500 was introduced in April 1968, and continued to be offered until 1977. The V8 engine weighed the same as the four-cylinder unit of the Rover 2000 giving the more powerful cars a maximum speed of 114 mph with a 0-60 time of 10.5-seconds. The P6 3500 V8s are remarkably impressive cars well suited to modern road conditions. Younger and increasingly affluent professional workers and executives were seeking out cars that were superior to the normal 1.5-litre models in style, design and luxury but which offered more modern driving dynamics than the big three-litre class and lower purchase and running costs than sports saloons such as the Jaguar Mark II. Automotive technology had improved significantly in the mid-to-late 1950s, typified by the introduction of cars such as the Citroen DS and Lancia Flavia in Europe and the Chevrolet Corvair in America. The replacement for the traditionally-designed P4 would therefore b

By 1906 the company was making cars and the name changed to The Rover Company Limited. The company struggled in the depression of the thirties but the re-establishment of the company started when Spencer Wilks and later his brother Maurice built up a reputation for quality cars with superb engineering up to the outbreak of the second world war. After the war all companies were struggling to update their model range but Rover, like many other car makers, re-launched their pre-war range of 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 horsepower cars. These were developed into the 60 and 75 in 1948 and incorporated the engine destined later for the P4 featuring overhead inlet and side exhaust valves, otherwise the cars looked very similar to the pre-war models although there were a number

The Rover P6 series (named 2000, 2200, or 3500, depending on its engine displacement) is a saloon car produced from 1963 to 1977 in Solihull, West Midlands. It was voted European car of the year in 1964, the very first winner of this title. The P6 was announced on 9th October 1963, just before the Earls Court Motor Show. It was the sixth of the "P" designated Rover designs, and the last to reach production. The vehicle was marketed first as the Rover 2000 and was a complete "clean sheet" design intended to appeal to a larger number of buyers than earlier models such as the P4 it replaced. The P5 was sold alongside the P6 until 1973. Rover saw Buick's 3.5 L V8 from the Buick Special as a way to differentiate the P6 from its chief rival, the Triumph 2000. They purchased the rights to the innovative aluminium engine and once it was modified to allow its use by Rover, it became an instant hit. The Rover V8 engine, as it became known, outlived its original host, the P5B, by more than thirty years. The 3500 was introduced in April 1968 (one year after the Rover company was purchased by Triumph's owner, Leyland) and continued to be offered until 1977. The manufacturer asserted that the li
FFY 579 was first registered on the 18th June 1947 and is the highly desirable six cylinder model, the P2 16. The Rover was purchased by its last owners in 2016 and has been in regular weekend use. The car has spent some time on the show scene and has proven completely usable and reliable. The Rover has been based in Warrington, has been driven to various events in Cheshire and the surrounding areas. Our P2 has proven very easy to own in terms of it not needing any major work and not causing its recent owner any trouble whatsoever. The Rover has been slowly improved and parts invoices since 2016 include new coolant hoses, brake light switch, contact breaker points, fan belt new condenser and ignition key. The Rover drives particularly well with a strong six cylinder engine holding very good oil pressure. The gearbox is strong and changes up and down the gearbox smoothly and the car is very pleasant to drive with good braking, handling and steering. FFY 579 presents well with smart, bright Black paintwork and good chrome work. The body is structurally very impressive and the paint finish on the car is of a good standard. The interior trim looks well with re-trimmed front seats, orig

Variant name:CITY E ,Variant: CITY E Automatic - One lady owner from new, A superb example covering only 11,700 miles in 27 years. An outstanding car. Launched to a dumb-founded motoring press in 1959, the Alec Issigonis-designed Mini introduced a whole new concept in car design. Perfectly timed to capture the revolutionary mood of the Swinging Sixties, it crashed through the traditional class barriers that had surrounded British cars up to that point and everybody wanted to be seen in a Mini. No wonder the fundamental shape remained unaltered for an incredible 40 years. This remarkable City E Automatic has had just one lady owner from new and has only covered 11,700 miles in its 27 years to date. Supplied new by Eveleigh’s Garage of Exeter in October 1990, it has been religiously maintained by them ever since, the history file containing no fewer than 18 service sheets detailing regular upkeep over the years. Always kept garaged, it remains in outstanding and original condition throughout with gleaming red paintwork and a virtually unmarked grey cloth interior. It even retains the factory paper tags on the wiring inside the boot lid. It rides on a matching set of Marshall tyres with about 5mm of tread all round. The car comes with the aforementioned service history, the original owner's handbook, spare wheel, tool kit and jack, period AA 'emergency windscreen' and two sets of keys on the original leather Rover key fob. Said to drive as well as it looks, it has an MOT until June 2018 with no advisories recorded. You would be hard pressed to find a smarter, lower mileage example anywhere.
