We know this lovely, largely original low mileage Rover P4 100 very well having sold it in 2005, again in December 2014 to one of our regular customers in Essex and more recently to a long term local customer who has bought over ten classic cars from us over many years. MKS 265 spent nine years in regular summer use from 2005 and has attended shows and rallies across Yorkshire. The Rover covered 4000 faultless miles and on return to us after nine years sold immediately to a regular customer in Essex. After almost one year of enjoying the Rover, it came back to us in part exchange and has since been used locally covering around 500 faultless miles. MKS 265 has been slowly improved since 2005 and has been treated to various re-chroming work. Mechanically the Rover has been superbly maintained and has proved completely reliable. The car has had various ignition items replaced, a new water pump and a new speedo cable. During the 1990's the Rover was with one owner in West Yorkshire and receipts are with the car for new hoses, thermostat housing, de-coke head gasket set, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, calipers and pistons, brake discs, brake pads and new brake pipes. Between 1961 and 199

It was this image that perhaps helped the Mini become such an asset for BMW, which later bought the remnants of BMC as the Rover Group. It was even more popular in Japan, which took the lion's share of the circa 40,000 Minis produced annually in the early 1990s. It was seen there as a retro-cool icon, and inspired many imitators.

A cossetted and very rare Rover Metro GTi 16v with a huge history file. EQUIPMENT Laminated windscreen, green tint glass, tilting green glass sunroof, body colour front spoiler, body colour sill extensions, black rear spoiler with body colour lip, body colour door mirrors, styled halogen headlamps, headlamp road-levelling, rear wash/wipe, central door locking, digital clock, rubber fascia mat, soft feel sports steering wheel, 60/40 split folding rear seat, security coded Philips radio cassette (model R570), roof mounted aerial. Dealer accessories; Rover tailored floor mats. EXTERIOR This very rare sporting GTi 16v variant has been under the ownership of an exceptionally dedicated and near obsessive individual who has preserved the car since it was less than two years old! The striking factory original paintwork in Flame Red, (Code COF), displays a deep mirror shine throughout with an incredible uniform glossy finish. Two tiny dings, one on the scuttle panel and one on the offside rear panel are just visible but inoffensive. The underside and factory fitted panels are incredibly well preserved, and even the rear arches show visible original weld dots, almost unheard of for a Metro. The sporting trim sections are perfect and the dealer plates, tax disc holder and rear screen sticker remain fitted. Constantly garaged with soft sheets protecting it, this example is in almost unconceivably good condition. INTERIOR The interior of this outstanding unmolested example is in pristine original condition. The sports seats with Lightning Fabric facings, (Code LOY), are virtually wear free and spotlessly clean. Matching door cards are perfect and the colour scheme carpeting has been protected by genuine Rover over mats from new. The perfect fascia, dashboard and all switchgear is fully functional and the headlining is as new. The optional security coded radio cassette remains fitted and fully functional, and all glass is security etched with the registration number. The sporty feel is completed with bright red seat belts, a less than subtle hint towards the fun in store once you turn the key! ENGINE & TRANSMISSION This top of the range Metro GTi 16v has the four cylinder 16 valve twin cam engine developing a spritely 95bhp, huge fun in such a lightweight car. The engine note through the standard specification exhaust matches the cars sporty looks and the driving experience is guaranteed to raise a reluctant smile! A pristine engine bay displays all factory stickers, plates and panel stampings. The five speed close ratio manual gearbox offers light and precise changes throughout the range and lively city driving manner. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES The original 13” alloy wheels are in amazing order having never been refurbished and are shod in brand new branded 185/55 R13 tyres. Incredibly, the factory fitted Dunlop SP D8 tyres have been retained for originality. The spare fifth alloy wheel is also fitted with the original Dunlop tyre, and both the wheel and tyre have never seen the road. To delight the collector even more, alongside the spare wheel is the toolkit, wheel brace and centre cap lever sat in the polystyrene holder, and the original jack is retained by the correct small white bungee strap. The dual circuit servo assisted brakes with front discs bring the car up to a steady, straight and assured halt. HISTORY FILE This astounding example was registered new on 1st June 1990 by Rover Main Dealer, Mann Egerton & Co of Bishop’s Stortford, and has covered a mere 63,591 miles with just two keepers from new. The previous keeper purchased the car from Rover Main Dealer, Warners of Windlesham, when the car was less than two years old and had covered just 8,823 miles. A used vehicle sales invoice in the history file confirms a purchase price of £7,360. The devotion by the second and long term owner is truly remarkable with the care and attention lavished upon her pride and joy second to none. She even had the foresight to periodically buy spare carpet mats, trim pieces and parts while they could still be found, just in case they were ever needed! The colossal history file is simply incredible with all handbooks, radio guides, service book other point of sale literature neatly kept inside the plastic A5 wallet. Furthermore, a huge folder of receipts and invoices span from new to present, and there are two documented cambelt changes with the most recent being done less than 4,000 miles ago. A detailed maintenance log, original Rover range sales brochure and two sets keys complete the history file. This Metro is an absolute credit to the former keeper and represents an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire arguably the best example of this very rare surviving model. MOT March 2018, HPI Clear. 1998 Rover Mini Cooper 1275cc. Tahiti Blue with half leather Monaco light stone upholstery. The car was supplied new in August 1998 to Ms Thomas of Thames Ditton by London based Mini dealer The Chequered Flag. The original service book is with the car and stamped by the supplying dealer and the London Mini Centre until 2006 at which time the car had covered 32,000 miles. An MOT history print out in the history file confirms the low mileage of 36,000 to be correct. The car still has its original book pack containing the owners handbook and in-car entertainment manual. The Mini presents very well and it is becoming increasingly harder to find such low mileage examples. The car is just waiting to be enjoyed in new hands. The engine runs very sweetly and the gearbox is smooth and precise. In summary this is a very smart Cooper that would be a welcome addition to any collection and a car that any enthusiast would be proud to own and this car is ready to use. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. Viewing is highly recommended. All major debit and credit cards accepted. Please contact us for any further information. Delivery included in mainland UK.

A venerable old lady, now seeking a long term relationship with caring, genuine new owner! 'Esmeralda' is the 125th RHD 100 off the production line at Solihull. I use her locally & she is a very good starter but I suspect the battery is past its best! She requires some TLC but would reward a new owner with years of faithful service. These were beautifully engineered & appointed cars; as good as the Alvis, Rolls, Bentley & Jaguar of the day, yet are, compaively, as 'cheap as chips!' Esmeralda is pretty much at the bottom price-range that you can get a 'turnkey' example of one of these wonderful old cars for. I've used her & continue to use her to go shopping/running around but have a couple of other old cars that I've had for a number of years & unfortunately cannot financially afford to give her the attention that she deserves. I wish I could as she is such an endearing old girl... She will come with a genuine period workshop manual, period handbook, a rare period sales brochure & another couple of books, together with a DVLA history file. The 3no./3letter registion is none-transferable. Her overdrive is not working at the moment & neither is the trip meter, timeclock, fuel gauge or internal engine oil indicator. Fairly minor, fiddly things to resolve.....but rewarding. The main 'gremlin', though, is a slipping clutch if enthusiastically driven (she's usually okay if driven sedately...) due to a leaking rear crankshaft oil seal - a new seal & clutch plate are provided. She will need some welding at the foot of the 'B' posts...perhaps some attention elsewhere underneath - not sure as she has not been on a ramp in my safekeeping...She's well shod with a good exhaust & the brakes pull her up & even the handbrake seems to hold! Although the original radio needs an aerial it does actually still work! She's a lot of car for the money - a fine example of 'shabby chic' & deserves a good home for Christmas!....Ideal for the hands-on enthusiast who likes working on 'quality' vehicles yet still wants to be able to drive them... EDIT: (28/12/2016) May be prepared to listen to serious offers &/or offers of part exchange subject to cash coming in my direction! EDIT: (11/01/2017) Now have DVLA history - appears that the original owner kept her for several decades...

Alloy wheels 1996 Rover Mini Cooper 35LE, John Cooper Limited Edition, one of only five uprated by John Cooper Garages, Concours condition. Almond green and white. Special editions of the Mini are nothing new and have featured as part of the Mini's history since the late 1970s. One of the more exciting and rare versions, the 35LE was produced to celebrate 35 years of the Mini Cooper. Only 200 were manufactured and of that 200 only FIVE were made available to John Cooper Garages for conversion to this specification. The Mini offered here being one of these ultra rare conversions. Apart from the standard features of Porcelain green leather, Gun Metal grey Minilite alloy wheels and an elm dashboard, the John Cooper cars had Cooper converted cylinderheads producing 86hp (a 23hp increase over the standard 63hp), a special exhaust system, K & N filter elements, Koni shock absorbers, oil cooler and John Cooper stainless steel sill plates. This particular example has been the subject of a thorough restoration by the vendor to a high standard which has taken over 300 man hours of labour and approximately £6,000 in parts to complete. During the rebuild the Mini was stripped to a bare shell, and any corroded metal was replaced before the car was thoroughly re-sprayed in the original colour scheme. The engine was rebuilt with new main bearings, ends, rings and thrust washers. The gearbox was reconditioned by Mini Sport and the suspension was rebuilt. The original interior was thoroughly cleaned
