Chassis number: SNH262 Registration number: XGO999 The very last Silver Cloud 1 ever to be produced & therefore the last 6 cylinder car made by Rolls Royce. The history of this car is known having covered 88,000 miles throughout its life during the tenure of its four fastidious owners. The car was ordered new for South African use where it spent its first 14 or so years. From new the car was specified with tropical equipment such as the oil bath air filter which pleasingly it retains today. We handle quite a few clouds every year & I have to say that this is the finest example we have ever had the pleasure of driving. The current & former keepers have lavished money on it without regards to expense to keep it in "best in world" condition. On file are recent bills for an £18,000 engine rebuild performed by Marque specialist Mark Taylor of Birdham. A bare metal respray in the original period colour of smoke green has also been done to a very very high standard. Interior leather has been replaced where necessary to keep the car in show winning order, but where possible originality has been retained. The car has brand new deep pile lambswool over rugs just fitted. Seating is sandstone
