This stunning example, chassis number DRH9757 was supplied new in Masons Black with Black hide with Grey carpets and Grey hood headlining. The car was sold new by Jack Barclay Ltd and ordered new with fog lamps, plain Sundym Glass, flasher/repeater lamps fitted at Crewe and a Philips Cassette Tape player to be fitted to the centre console by HJM MPW. The Rolls Royce was ordered new by Peter Rogers at Feature Film Facilities, Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. Peter Rogers became a British institution, the highly successful producer of more than 30 Carry on Films and it was reported by ‘The Telegraph’ that he left a legacy that is unrivalled and his contribution to British cinema is long and illustrious. The BBC quote his life’s work was rewarded at the British Comedy Awards in 1990 and by the London Critic’s Circle six years later. He was married to another British film producer, Betty Box.
