A classic designed Barker limousine body graces chassis number GTK36. Coming off test on 3/26/36 it was then delivered to Barker to receive a beautifully designed 4 light limousine body with division window. When completed it was delivered to Mr. H.J. Colebrook. Mr. Colebrook was a horse dealer and horse racer in the 1930s. Having owned, raced and sold numerous teams of horses for road coaches and Hackney cabs, Mr. Colebrook once owned the famous road coach “Nimrod”. This coach is well documented in the book “Half Century of Coaching” by Tom Ryder. This example still carries its Barker body along with its original interior. Currently owned by a well known retired US Rolls Royce specialist, the car has undergone a complete mechanical refurbishment. All systems are in full working order and the car can be driven anywhere without worry. The cosmetics show the patina of many years of joyful use. Having owned the car from 1963, the current caretaker has driven the car many miles on tours, weekend trips and family outings with complete confidence. Currently Tim Jayne of Dennison-Jayne Motors has been in charge of maintaining the motorcar since the retirement of the current owner. He has
