Chassis number: 3705 Engine Number: 5591 Registration number: DS9184 Supplied new to Australia with the chassis built to continental specification; the car wears a beautiful light aluminium body by coachcraft of Melbourne. This body was constructed during the 1990's when the car underwent a total & utter rebuild. The new body was hand crafted in aluminium to match the original. The original engine, gearbox, chassis, back axle and running gear were all restored at the same time along with a full re-trim in leather and a new soft top. The estimated cost of the restoration was between £80,000-100,000. The car is finished in deep Prussian blue paintwork to the body with black wings the latter of which are very light delicate & minimalist; the paint being in excellent condition. To the interior is pale blue hide to the front bucket seats & extending to the rear bench seat. Pale blue carpets complete the ensemble. A large black mohair hood unfurls for inclement motoring, of to keep off the sun depending upon where the vehicle is being operated. There is a very rileyesque diamond window to the rear of the hood leaving following aficionados in no doubt as the brand of car that just passed
