    Production of the car started on Friday the 27th February 1998 and was completed 12 days later on Wednesday 11th March 1998.Delivered to Ferrari UK by truck and first registered R13 ASK, by my colleague Mark Hawkins ,then of Maranello Sales in Egham Surrey, to property consultant Miss Adina Kohn of London on the 1st April 1998. Finished in Giallo Modena DS430 with black hide 8500 , carpets 151 and hood. Additionally the car was factory optioned with a 6x CD changer (CDCH) at £720.00 and a rear challenge grille (GRD1) at £288.00 (Enamel Scuderia wing shields have also been fitted retrospectively.)The car is understood to be one of only 38 manual 355 Spiders finished in this colour combination ,from the 315 cars originally and officially imported by Maranello Concessionaires/Ferrari UK. Invoices from Racing Technologies, which was to later become Autofficina, show that by December 2005 and with 24,700 miles the car appears to be in the ownership of 60 year old film producer ,Mr Jamie Brown of London, who continued to use Racing Technologies/Autofficina to maintain the car.     According to the build sheets the body arrived at the Ferrari factory from Pininfarina on the 2nd May 1968, passing through the factory where the mechanicals were built and added to the car. Completed and delivered in August 1968, direct from the Ferrari factory, it was specified as right hand drive as the purchaser Mr Verbeck of Brussels, Belgium, apparently a second world war resistance fighter, had lost his right arm! The car was otherwise to European specification with KPH speedometer, finished in Grigio Mahmoud 244.3.931 with nero Franzi hide and dark grey- anthracite- carpet It was also specified with Borrani wire wheels The then UK list price was £8,563.3.11 plus road tax, delivery charges and number plates-exactly the same price as a 365 GTB/4 Daytona!     On the 31st May 1994,an order was placed with Maranello Concessionaires Ltd by the Ferrari agents ,Lancasters of Colchester for a Blu Le Mans Fer 516/C with cream hide A3997 and blue carpet,456 GT -one of 39 Blu Le Mans examples from the 139 cars originally officially imported, and one of just 13 in this colour combination. The order was confirmed twelve months later on the 1st March 1995.Production was started on the Thursday 4th May 1995 and completed just under a month later on Friday 2nd June 1995.Invoiced to Ferrari UK/Maranello Concessionaires Ltd on the 12th June 1995 for delivery to the UK by truck. Upon arrival in the UK the car was invoiced by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd/Ferrari UK to the East Anglian Ferrari agents, Lancasters on the 27th June 1995. The car was first registered N11 BSB, on the 1st August 1995, to Mr Brian Berry of London, by Ferrari agents Lancasters of Colchester, Essex.     The Certificate of Conformity-essential should the car ever be exported,- shows the car to have been completed on Thursday 28th September 2000.The car was delivered to the UK by truck to Ferrari UK, and in turn delivered to the Ferrari agents, Maranello Sales of Egham Surrey were my colleague Mark Hawkins supplied it to its first owner, 58 year old businessman Mr Alessandro Torricelli of Sussex on Monday 8th January 2001, registering it A1 LXT. The then list price of £103,275.00 plus £2,245 inc vat "on the road charge”. In addition, the car was factory optioned with dark red stitching STC1 £156.00, electrically operated seats ELEC £1,272.00,6 x CD £732.00 and a battery conditioner CHUK £516.00.Mr Torricelli replaced the 360 with a manual 430 coupe which has only done 1,600 miles. Purchased by the second and last owner a 47 year old businessman from Hertfordshire from Hampshire Ferrari agents, Meridien Modena, with 3,600 miles on the 28th April 2008.     Originally ordered with yellow with black leather and light grey carpets ,for a 28 year old Mr Digby Martland, author and Chevron racer. Order number 493 was confirmed by the Ferrari factory on the 17th July 1970.Unable to obtain residency in Jersey ,Mr Martland cancelled his order on the 22nd June 1971. Not wishing to have a yellow 365 GTB/4 in stock ,Maranello Concessionaires Ltd's managing director ,Sean Bealey, changed order 493 to a Blu Sera 106.A.18 -one of just four UK cars so finished-with light blue hide VM 3015, with no air conditioning.     Order number S/180,was placed with the factory by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd's managing director ,Mr Sean Bealey on Monday 5th November 1979 for an Argento Auteil (silver) 308 GTS with beige hide (VM3218) seats with black hide (VM 8500) door cards with black carpets. In addition to the metallic paint the car was optioned with 7.5"wide wheels-now replaced with 16" wheels. Duly completed and invoiced by the Ferrari factory on the 11th January 1980 for delivery to the UK by truck. Upon its arrival in the UK , Maranello Concessionaires Ltd invoiced their then Ferrari agents in Torquay ,Devon Wadham Stringer-(who were also Rolls-Royce and Bentley dealers-Torquay also had a De Tomaso dealerships!)on the 3rd March 1980.     Completed by the Ferrari factory in October 1994 the car was shipped to the UAE were it was delivered new by the UAE Ferrari agents Al-Tayer Motors LLC on the 28th June 1995 to Mr Abudulllah Bel Obeida, apparently heir to the Ruler of Ras al Khaima. Following an inspection by Ferrari agents Al Tayer on the 29th October 2003 with 44801kms/28,000 miles, the car was purchased by the second owner, British ex pat Mr Gavin Jeffrey on the 12th November 2003 from High Class Cars in Dubai for Dirham 162,000, ship.     Order number 560 was placed by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd with the Ferrari factory on Friday the 14th January 1972 for a Grigio Le Sancy 2.443.048-after the thoroughbred race horse -with Blue VM 3015 hide and light Blue carpets for April 1972 production. The order was confirmed by the factory a week later. Just under three months later on the 30th March 1972,and order was taken by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd's ,Mike Salmon, for a Silver with Blue 365 GTC/4 placed by a 29 year old Mr Simon Agace, director of the very well known at the time, estate agents, Mann & Co for £9,486.98,noting that a 5% discount on the basic price-£392.50-will be given if there is no part exchange, a Jensen. Various correspondence between Mr Agace and Maranello Concessionaires discuss the possibility of Mr Agace collecting the car from the factory for which they would give him an £80 discount! For some reason ,the order was passed to Michael Harting of HW Motors Ltd in Walton on Thames ,who needless to was "very happy" to deal with it.
