In stock now is this stunning Porsche 911 3.0 Carrera, surely one of the finest in existence. Initially delivered in May 1976 by Glen Henderson Motors, then the Porsche dealer for Ayr in Scotland the car was built and remains finished in Light Yellow. It was ordered with black Carrera graphics, two rear foglights and an engine compartment light. Over the course of over five years the car underwent an astonishingly comprehensive restoration by Provost Automobiles in Le Mans, a specialist renowned for restoring Le Mans cars. Wherever possible factory parts were used, and upgraded parts if possible. Work done included: *Non sunroof roof. *All suspension and steering replaced with brand new parts including upgrade 930 anti-roll bars, torsion bars, rear arms etc. *Brakes - upgraded 930 items, this meant fitting 16" turbo Fuchs alloys. Stainless steel braided lines. *Cooling upgraded to 964 US spec including oil cooler and thermostatically controlled fan * Engine dismantled and checked, crankshaft x-rayed.
