1988 PORSCHE 911 TURBO CABRIOLET
The Stuff of legend !
With its magnificent wing extensions and rear spoiler, the Porsche 930 (known as the 911 Turbo) is perhaps the most immediately recognizable of all the Porsche models. In particular the 911 Turbo Cabriolet became something of a motoring icon and the must-have sports car throughout the city boom of the late 1980s.
Rarely available on the open market and quick to sell. Fine examples of this model are highly regarded by collectors as well as those enthusiasts seeking a statement-piece of motoring art combining scintillating performance.
Even by today’s standards, the ability of the 3.3 Litre Turbocharged engine, via its four-speed gearbox, to launch the car from rest to 100Km/h in 5.4 seconds is astonishing.
Our car was first registered in February 1988. The height of 80’s chic, the triple-black combo (paint, hood and interior), cuts the mustard twenty seven years later! Used sparingly by its last long term keeper, the odometer today reads only 87100 miles and such has been the care taken during his ownership that a remarkable showroom fresh aura surrounds it.
Speedy action is advised, for the maximization of pleasure and avoidance of disappointment.
