Porsche 911 Carrera

car description

The Carrera 3.0 replaced the 2.7 Carrera and was virtually identical in specification except for the 200BHP 3.0 engine. It was produced for only 2 years from late 1975 to 1977 making it one of the rarer 911's available today. The Carrera 3 is fitted with period brightwork around the windows and headlights and features a significantly stronger 3.0 litre 200bhp engine. This Carrera 3 has now covered a total of 88,000 miles and has spent the majority of its life in main land Europe. It is believed that the car was ordered new into the UK but in left hand drive specification. Shortly after being supplied, the car resided in Spain with the same keeper. The car then returned to the UK where a friend of the previous keeper purchased the car and immediately took the car back to Mallorca. It was at this time that the keeper we bought the car from aspired to one day own a similar 911. He was eventually given the opportunity to buy this Carrera 3 in 2006/7, an offer that he couldn’t refuse. In 2008/9 the car was driven
