1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Sport Coupe The eighties were fantastic times for Porsche and the 911 was a desirable sports car that unlike most of its rivals could genuinely be used every day. For the 1984 model year the iconic Carrera name was to be seen on a standard 911 for the first time and with a new 3.2 litre engine would now comfortably exceed 150mph. The 911 Carrera `Sport` featured front and rear spoilers, 16 inch Fuchs wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers and sports seats as standard. Finished in Guards Red with Porsche logo interior, this example was supplied new on 18.01.1985 through Lancaster garages ltd (now Porsche centre Colchester) and is still in its original factory specification, including the original book pack together with matching service book and under bonnet specification sticker still in place. This example has only covered a mere 48,900 miles from new, averaging just over 1,500 miles per year since delivery! This is a car we have known for a while, having sold it to its previous owner in 2013 and looking after it ever since.
