In stock now is this classic Porsche 911 3 Litre Carrera coupe Sportomatic. One of just twenty six made in the 1976 build year the car has covered 117809 miles with 9 owners and is finished in ice green metallic with typically 70s tartan interior in green and blue. Sportomatic is a forerunner of Tiptronic but is actually an automated manual system, using a vacuum operated clutch to enable shifts to be made. Originally delivered by Porsche Cars in Isleworth the car has been the subject of a bare metal respray a few years ago, with a more recent refresh in February this year at a cost of £8067.60, carried out by Norfolk Premier Coachworks, a Porsche specialist bodyshop. This included new seals all around and refurbishing all four wheels In addition to this bodywork, at the same time the car also benefited from a new oil cooler, new oil lines and some electrical tidying. Retrofit airconditioning is fitted, making it ideal for export to warmer climes. One of just 177 Porsche 911 3.0 Carrera coupes made in right hand drive for the UK in 1976 and 1977 this lovely classic is presented without the bigger sport spoilers and looks really well for it.
