An ultra-low mileage 1986 Porsche 911 Supersport is set to headline five immaculate German classics at this years Silverstone Auctions Salon Prive Sale.
The 911 Supersport which has travelled 743km since new, will cross the auction block alongside four other German models having arrived fresh from storage in Germany.
Often hailed as the most complete of the original 911s, the flat-six left-hand-drive Supersport arrives at auction in near factory-fresh condition, and is set to set tongues wagging at Silverstone.
Besides the Porsche, a beautifully maintained 1985 Mercedes-Benz 280SE with just 5,700km on the clock will be first to go under the hammer. Considering the cars popularity in the ‘80s, it is rare to find an example with such little mileage, complete with extensive documentation.
The 280SE will be joined by another 280, in the form of a 280SLC. Besides having just 16,500km clocked, a large history file containing all documentation for its entire 40-year history is included and offered without reserve.
The third Mercedes-Benz on offer, a 1986 560SEC is also a sympathy luxury and style. This particular car was supplied new to Germany where it covered a mere 38,000km. All original factory paperwork and service history verify the car’s excellent condition.
The final car from the collection is 1988 Daimler Double Six Series III. Three standout highlights are central to the car’s appeal, including an individual specification Nardi steering wheel, a full respray in Metallic Blue and magnificent chrome wire wheels. This Daimler has travelled just 3,297km since new, and having remained in storage in previous years, is potentially one of the finest examples of the model to exist.
The five German stars are set to join over 60 other cars at the sale, which takes place on September 4th.
