1975-1977 PORSCHE 911 Turbo specifications

Not just a fast car but an instant pin-up beloved of teenage boys. Having experimented with turbochargers in racing, Porsche saw this as the way forward for performance road cars, and this rocket was the result. With fat arches to cover the seven- and eight-inch rims, plus that enormous rear spoiler, the Turbo was something of a trend-setter. But what really mattered was how well it went; the incredible acceleration, superb grip and handling, and enormous brakes to match. Surprisingly the gearbox was only a four-speed, but that didn’t hold it back.
