Over 350 Porsches gathered at Cholmondeley Castle to celebrate 70 years of Porsche.
Around 5000 people attended a special 70th anniversary gathering of Porsches on 9-10 June, Sportscar Together Day, which took place at Cholmondeley Castle. The date marked almost 70 years to the day that the very first 356 was completed for road use.
Stratstone were a driving force behind the event, with five Porsche Centres from across the country bringing cars that helped to form a parade of 350 cars. The event also included a German market and family entertainment area.
A concours took place in the afternoon, featuring a curated collection of rare and individual Porsches, which were judged following a lap around the castle grounds for the crowds to enjoy.
Simon Kemp, Porsche National Franchise Director at Stratstone, said: ‘We are thrilled with the incredible turnout for the Sportscar Together event this weekend. Thousands of people came along, as well as more than 500 Porsches, to celebrate 70 years of this iconic brand. We were pleased to be able to be such a big part of the anniversary celebrations.’
