Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service Photos to follow. This 1982 Porsche 911SC has been back-dated to resemble an early 1970s 911 RS, with early-style front and rear bumpers. It looks great with its period Gulf Blue paintwork, side-stripes and contrasting orange Fuchs alloy wheels. The big news is that the 911’s engine and gearbox have just been rebuilt by well-respected Porsche specialists Jaz in London. The engine has ew Mahle barrels and pistons, and 964 camshafts, plus freshly powder-coated parts, all at a cost of over £16,000. The car has covered just 1000 miles since, and has just had its first post-rebuild service by Jaz. The same specialist also refreshed the suspension system with four new dampers, and various new joints and bushes, plus four new tyres. This was an additional £3000 spend. Going back further, there is a history file dating back to the 1980s. The interior has also been given an RS feel, with lightweight (and very comfortable) bucket seats, the rear seats have been removed, and lightweight RS door panels have been fitted, together with a Momo steering wheel. Removing the hefty impact bumpers and original seats has reduced the weight of the Porsche by

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service Photos to follow. This 1968 MGB GT is a lovely car, and a rare one too, as it has automatic transmission. It is finished in its original colour of Sandy Beige, with a wonderful red interior. The MG comes with a detailed history, going right back to the original sales invoice of 1968, when it was bought by a Mr Cockerill. The invoice even includes £3/10 for 12 gallons of petrol! The same Mr Cockerill still owned the car right up to 1996. It travelled to Greece around 2007 and returned to the UK in 2016 when it went back to its original 1968 registration plate. There are MoT certificates going right back to the first one in 1971, so we are reasonably confident that the stated mileage of 77,400 is genuine. The history file shows that the bodywork has had attention in the past, as you’d expect, and is rust-free and looking really good. Brand new wire wheels (as per the original specification) have just been fitted, along with new Dunlop tyres. The engine has been rebuilt and modified for use with today’s unleaded petrol, and fitted with an electric Kenlowe fan. The interior is stunning. New seat foams and covers have been fitted, along with

    POA

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service Any Porsche 997 Turbo is a treat, and this one is no exception. It’s a stunning low-mileage example, finished in rare GT Silver Metallic, which is a deeper, richer shade than the more usual Arctic Silver. It looks wonderful! The interior is finished in Natural Grey Leather, which is a dark, almost black, shade. The cabin is well-specified with hard-back fully-electric Adaptive Sports seats with memory and heating, plus Sport Chrono Pack Plus, PCM sat-nav, Bose sound pack, cruise control, sunroof, multifunction steering wheel and Alcantara headlining. Other options include rear Park Assist, Bi-Xenon headlamps, PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), Porsche VTS tracking system, and much more. Sport Chrono Pack Plus is a must-have option for 997 Turbos. It includes a dash-top chronometer, plus sophisticated timing via the PCM screen. Most importantly, it adds a Sports button to the dash. When pressed, this firms up the suspension, gives a faster throttle response, and reprogrammes the Tiptronic transmission to hold lower gears longer, all of which combines to give an even more exciting driving experience. The Porsche comes with a wel

  • 2001 Porsche Boxster S

    For sale
    POA

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service This 2001 Porsche Boxster S looks fantastic with its gleaming Guards Red paintwork. It has covered just 48,800 miles from new, so is in great condition, inside and out. Early Porsche Boxsters are becoming increasingly sought-after and collectable, and you can see why. They have a pureness of design, are a lot of fun to drive, and great value for money. You just need to find a good example, like this one, which are now few and far between. Being a Boxster S, the Porsche benefits from the larger 3.2-litre engine, which makes it a lot of fun to drive, with bags of power and torque. It also has a six-speed gearbox for relaxed high-speed cruising. The interior features black leather seats, white dials and the optional rear storage compartment, plus a CDR22 CD/radio head unit. This well-maintained Boxster has just had a major service. We have also replaced an air-conditioning condensor and regassed the system so that it blows icy cold (it has the full climate control, by the way). In addition, we have changed the brake fluid, replaced three ignition coil packs, fitted a new drivebelt, and undertaken various other tasks to ensure that the car

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service This 1998 Porsche Boxster is a real collector’s item, with just 39,000 miles on the clock and two owners from new, the second having owned the car since it was just two years old. The Porsche is finished in eye-catching Speed Yellow with Turbo-look 17-inch alloy wheels, and is in excellent condition. The interior features full Metropole Blue leather, which extends to the door panels and dashboard, which was a rare option on early Boxsters, and the seats are finished in sumptuous Ruffled leather. Another desirable option is full climate control. The car also has a wind deflector and rear storage bin. The Boxster has a well-documented service history. It was treated to a £1000 service in 2016, including new catalytic converters. This year, the car has had a similar amount spend on it, including new air-conditioning condensors (the system now blows icy cold), new water pump, new antiroll bar links and replacement brake fluid, plus a service. Good early Porsche Boxsters are becoming rare and sought-after, which is why we are delighted to have this lovely example in stock. Unless otherwise stated, all our cars are put through a thorough inde

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service This is a beautiful example of an early and increasingly collectable Porsche 996 Carrera Tiptronic. It is finished in gleaming Arena Red Metallic with a complementing sumptuous full Savanna leather interior that boasts the desirable hardbacked Sports seats. The Porsche benefits from having just having had some £4000 spent on bringing up to our high standard. Most importantly, we have replaced the IMS (Intermediate shaft) bearing with an upgraded one to ensure peace of mind for the new owner. The RMS (rear main seal) was also replaced. In addition, we have fitted new air-conditioning condensers so that the system blows icy cold air. The car has also had a major service, including new spark plugs, new water pump, new brake fluid, new cooling radiators and the transmission fluid and filter has been changed. The 911 has a nice range of options, including the rare Sport Package, which includes the aforementioned Sports seats, a limited slip differential (LSD) and M030 Sports suspension. It also has traction control, sunroof and trip computer. Good 996s are increasingly hard to come by, which is why we are so excited by this one. Unless other

Philip Raby Porsche Porsche Sales and Service This 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 4, finished in eye-catching Linen Silver Metallic, is a truly wonderful car. It has had over £20,000 spent on it during the last four years and that is reflected in the way that the Porsche drives and looks. The engine was fully rebuilt by Precision Porsche at a cost of £13,000, with extensive new parts including camshafts, timing chains, and 993 cylinder-head studs. A new clutch and flywheel were fitted at this time. The suspension has been rebuilt with Bilstein B6 dampers, Porsche Orange springs, Powerflex bushes, new top mounts and an uprated 20mm rear anti-roll-bar. All of which makes the car handle superbly – precisely and confidently, with none of the understeer often associated with the 964 Carrera 4. The brakes have been fitted with BF Goodrich braided hoses. The car retains its original Porsche Design90 wheels. Inside, the leather seats have been retrimmed to a high standard to what is believed to be the original specification; Linen with black inserts. An eye-catching combination and the cockpit retains that wonderful smell of fresh leather. There is a gorgeous Prototypo steering wheel which looks
