1965-1979 PEUGEOT 204/304 Coupe specifications

Whereas the Peugeot 204 and 304 have been unfairly consigned to the ranks to the automotive hall of mediocrity, the coupé versions were a further Pininfarina masterclass in product maximisation. The pretty three-door fastback used a hatchback rear door, and comfortable seating for two plus two children, despite a wheelbase shortened by 12 inches. Surviving examples are good to drive and are likely to have been well cared-for, but take care when looking for corrosion – it can strike anywhere, and often does.
