Variant name:ZAGATO , During 2002, Aston Martin reignited its 40 year relationship, with the Italian styling house Zagato to produce, a limited number of DB7 Vantage Zagato Coupe’s. Such was the appetite, that after the factories announcement over 300 hundred applicants applied, for one of the 99 cars to be produced. Built on a shortened wheelbase chassis, unique to this model and fitted with the DB7 GT V12 engine and 6 speed manual transmission, with uprated suspension and brakes the GT Zagato, delivered a fully focused yet relaxed driving experience for the lucky few. The DB7 Zagatos unique and distinctive body styling, includes the wide and deep front grille and signature Zagato ‘Double Bubble’ roof line synonymous with Zagato’s previous masterpieces. With unique interiors trimmed in luxurious aniline hides and finishers the cars were individually built to clients specifications. All 99 cars were built and delivered by 2003, before DB7 Vantage production ceased. This superbly specified example, number 72 of the 99 produced, is in excellent condition having covered just 14,800 miles in total. Attractively finished in Chiltern Green with Bitter Chocolate analine hides and coordinated interior finishers. Variant name:SPORTS COUPE , A superb and restored example DB4 Special Series with original overdrive 4-speed gearbox. A Series IV example, finished in Forest Green with Black hides. Produced before the introduction of the DB4 Vantage model, which was equipped with the closed headlamp coachwork, this elegant open headlight example can lay claim to being both rare and exhilarating to drive. Just 19 of this variant were produced. Chassis, body and engine restored and equipped with acknowledged upgrades, including lead free 4.2 litre engine specification, Harvey Bailey suspension, aluminium radiator and geared starter. A matching numbers example with an extensive history file containing, original build details and early service history at Aston Martin, accompanied by photographic details of the sympathetic restoration, carried out by ourselves between 2014 and 2015. With its period hide interior, this highly collectible and rare DB4 Special Series, retains its period charm whilst offering superb performance and first in class coachwork. Variant name:SPORTS COUPE , Styled by the internationally acclaimed Italian design house ‘Carrozzeria Touring' of Milan, the DB4 was the first Aston Martin to be constructed using the design and construction methods developed by the Milanese and known as Superleggera, or translated, Superlight. An instant success after first being shown to the public in 1958, the DB4 was continually developed through 5 series, before production ceased at the end 1963 when, the immortal but larger and heavier, DB5 entered production. This Series I example, attractively finished in its original colours of Cardinal Grey with Bordeaux hides, is equipped with the signature frameless side windows and front opening bonnet, unique to the early cars and as originally penned and specified by Touring. Meticulously restored over several years and completed in 2014 the car has covered some 4,500 miles, since. Variant name:VANTAGE , - Finished in original build colours of Goodwood Green with Natural hides - Original Vantage specification - Original Manual transmission - Matching numbers example - 43,000 miles We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Aston Martin DB6 in the desirable drivers specification of Vantage engine and manual gearbox, of which only 268 are believed to have been produced in right hand drive form. Presented in its original colour combination of Goodwood Green with Natural Connolly (VM856) hides, This matching numbers car features a 4.2 Litre R.S Williams Vantage engine with triple Webber Carburettors driving through a 5 Speed ZF manual transmission. Built in 1966, DB6/2612/R was delivered to its first owner, Mr. Lionel Frank of London in 1967 before being bought by a Mr. Robert F. Snodgrass of Jacksonville, Florida in May 1983. While in Florida, the car featured in the Antique Automobile Club of America’s Concours d’Elegance, held in Orange Park, Florida, securing the overall victory in the sports car class in 1986. The car was repatriated in 1987 when it was bought by a Mr Peter Bennett of Cheshire. In 1993, a Mr Phillip Guy instructed a senior figure at Aston Martin to source the best DB6 that he could find. DB6/2612/R was that car and it was duly acquired by Mr Guy, who maintained the car to an exceptionally high standard. Under his ownership, a great deal of work was completed by renowned Aston Martin specialists R.S. Williams. This included a £19,000 engine rebuild completed in 1998, during which it was bored out to 4.2 Litres. A substantial history folder which includes a copy of the original build sheet, MOT records dating back to the 1980’s, servicing and maintenance records An original DB6 instruction manual also accompanies the car. Variant name:V6 , Styled by the renowned William Towns, the Aston Martin DBS was unveiled to the public in 1967, replace the long serving DB4, 5 and 6 models. The new elegant design went on to form the basis of a line of Aston Martin cars, produced over 20 years. Fitted with the all alloy 6 cylinder twin cam engine developed from the earlier DB5 and 6 models, a Vantage specification option was available with a quoted 325bhp output. A total of just 401 6 cylinder DBS were produced (803 total) between 1967 and 1970 and of those, circa 70 right hand drive examples, were built and delivered with the Vantage engine. Supplied new to a member of Far Eastern Royalty in 1970, this original DBS Vantage now back in the UK, is offered in its original build colours of Dubonnet Rosso with Fawn hides.
