The Swedish administrator, Delphi, has confirmed that the Saab factory museum collection is to go under the hammer. This is a part of the current bankruptcy proceedings, and sees 123 cars go up for sale – with bids being accepted for individual cars, or the entire collection. Bids need to be in with Delphi by 20 January.
The cars include the iconic 1946 URSAAB prototype, and all other retained prototypes since that car. It's a short deadline, and the hope is that serious bids will be tendered in time.
