Seven Ferraris worth over £15m will be making a pit stop at Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, with Chris Evans in aid of Children In Need, on Friday 2nd July 2010 at 11:00.

‘The Magnificent Seven’ will be taking to the roads on their ‘Children In Need Extravaganza Rally’ during which the prestigious Haynes Museum will welcome them back for the second time.

Chris auctioned off places on the run on his radio show to participate in this fabulous opportunity. The individuals who bid the most, along with and their co-drivers, will get the ride of their lives in Chris’ fleet of Ferraris as part of the 2010, Children in Need event. An incredible total of over £250,000 bid, all of which will be going to the charity, along with collections being taken en route.

The seven lucky bidders, driving some of the world's finest supercars will head down in convoy to the Haynes International Motor Museum in Somerset for a quick coffee and bacon roll before continuing on their travels. The public are welcome to the museum grounds to see Chris and his cars arrive, and can donate to ‘Children in Need’ if they wish.

The Magnificent Seven includes the 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder which Chris paid a world record auction price for, a 1957 Ferrari Testarossa Continuation, 1971 Ferrari Dino, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4, 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO, 1990 Ferrari F40 and 1964 Ferrari 250 Lusso. 'This is a great led up to our ‘Summer Ferrari Exhibition’ which opens on Saturday 24th July and runs to Sunday 5th September’ said Curatorial Director Mike Penn.

Museum Managing Director Marc Haynes said: ‘We are delighted to be helping out with this innovative Chris Evans event. Chris shares the same ethos as the Haynes International Motor Museum when it comes to running these cherished cars for all to enjoy. Come and see these awesome cars, a rare chance to see seven magnificent white Ferraris in one place not to mention the infamous Chris Evans; on Friday 2nd July at Haynes.
