County Durham based Aston Workshop has achieved the status of ‘Aston Martin Approved Service Agent’.

Aston Workshop are ‘Classic Aston Martin’ specialists, and it is incredibly rare for any company outside of the Aston Martin modern dealership network to be recognised in this way. They are one of only three such companies in the UK to be honoured, and the first outside of the London area.

This symbol of superior service, recognised worldwide, comes following a recent £250,000 investment in staff training and infrastructure. Several enhancements have been made including a completely new reception area & retail outlet, new signage, two brand new service bays and a state-of-the-art diagnostic area.

Aston Workshop employees visited the famous headquarters of Aston Martin in Gaydon to undergo advanced training and gain the qualifications necessary for ‘service agent’ status; qualifications that recognise the high level of expertise needed to service and care for any Aston Martin.

Clive Dickinson, Managing Director of Aston Workshop, said: 'We’ve been dedicated to Aston Martin for over 20 years and I’m delighted that our work here has been acknowledged with such a prestigious accreditation. It’s an exciting time to be working with Aston Martin and this new status gives us added confidence in providing the highest levels of personalised service for our customers. We’re thrilled that our investment in the company has yielded such excellent results.'

This new approval enables the company to provide the highest possible level of care in servicing both new and used Aston Martin cars and is a worthy recognition of their superior level of expertise. Staff use advanced diagnostic equipment and have access to an extensive selection of specialist Aston parts to make sure that all of the cars they service leave in impeccable condition.

To celebrate the accreditation, Aston Workshop is offering lunch for two at the Black Horse to anyone booking a service before the end of May. This offer can be taken on the day or a voucher can be issued to be used at a time that better suits the customer.
