DBR1 for your wall

The latest Turner masterpiece depicts what is perhaps Aston Martin's finest hour at Le Mans...

At 4pm on the June 21, 1959, the Aston Martin DBR1 of Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby crossed the finishing line to take victory at Le Mans, heading a 1-2 finish for the British team after 24 hours of racing.

Graham Turner's latest painting shows Roy Salvadori in the winning car, leading the Phil Hill/Olivier Gendebien Ferrari Testa Rossa at Tertre Rouge corner on Sunday morning. To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Aston Martin's famous victory, Studio 88 have published this evocative painting as a Limited Edition Giclée print, LIMITED TO 100 COPIES ONLY, the first 20 of which are reproduced on canvas just like the original oil painting.
