The Aston Martin One-77 will get its first public airing at the Ville d'Este Concours d'Elegance, giving potential owners their first opportunity to see the car first hand. The car, which was disappointingly pulled from the Geneva Motor Show after press day, will cost £1.2m, and Aston Martin say that most of the 100 cars have already been sold.

Aston Martin chief, Dr Ulrich Bez, said: ‘The One-77 demonstrates the unique capabilities of our company – it encompasses engineering excellence with a great passion from our engineers, designers and technical partners. This is a major step in One-77’s engineering programme, showing the first complete car, and will demonstrate new benchmarks in many different fields of automotive design.'

Keep checking the Octane website - we'll be putting up pictures of the car as soon as we see it, and will  be reporting from the rest of the prestigious concours, held on the shores of Lake Como.
