The Shanghai Auto Show presented the perfect opportunity for the major players to unveil their upcoming cars. Porsche unveiled the Panamera for the first time, while Jaguar used the show to present its first teaser picture of the next XJ.
The top-down view gives little away aside from the Panoramic roof and XF-aping bonnet. The new car will be considerably more contemporary than the retro-themed X350 (current model), but unlike the smaller car, it will feature the lightweight aluminium chassis that makes the current model so impressive in terms of performance and fuel consumption.
The
XJ will be unveiled in London on July 9, and to find out more (as the launch date approaches), visit the Jaguar microsite: www.jaguar.com/allnewxj/
