The Lexus LF-LC concept is set to preview an upcoming large coupe that will fo head to head with the German opposition. Produced by Lexus' California design studio, the 2+2 LF-LC features overt styling cues from the LF-A mixed with the front end from the LF-Gh concept, which previewed the new GS.
Lexus does need a replacement for the old SC430, which featured a folding metal roof and left the line-up back in 2008. Like the LF-LC, it was designed in California. Details are scarce at the moment but you can expect a hybrid engine to power the new coupe, with insiders suggesting it will mate a 3.5-litre V6 engine to an electric motor.
See it at Detroit.
