The Classic Team Lotus Festival at Snetterton will feature three of the most important Jim Clark Lotus Grand Prix and Indianapolis cars together for the first, and perhaps only, time on 20 June.
The 1963 F1 Championship-winning Type 25, the ‘65 Indy 500-winning Type 38 and the ‘67 Dutch GP-winning Type 49 will headline the Festival and will star in a display of at least 30 Team Lotus racing cars.
Clive Chapman, son of Lotus founder Colin, has confirmed that most of the racing cars will be fired up and demonstrated on the Snetterton circuit.
He said: ‘In light of the recent return of the Lotus name to F1 and Indianapolis, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the marque’s heritage, and it will be an unforgettable day.’
Tickets cost £20, with children under 12 entering for free. More information at www.snetterton.co.uk.
