a new race series for BMC A-series powered cars has been launched by Julius Thurgood, founder of Top Hat Racing, in conjunction with Masters Historic Racing.

The first event of the Lenham GT Challenge, named after the company that supplied add-on body panels for Sprites and Midgets in the 1960s and ’70s, will take place within the Masters Cloth Cap 45-minute enduro at the Bentley Drivers Club meeting, Silverstone, on August 8-9. It is supported by the Lenham Motor Company.
