Lola tribute to David Leslie at Le Mans

Lola will stage a tribute to the late racing driver David Leslie at this year's Le Mans 24 Hours at La Sarthe, France on Friday (June 13).

David's son, Graham, will pilot his father's MkI Lola in the Grand Parade des Pilotes. This will also coincide with Lola's 50th anniversary.

David Leslie (pictured driving the Lola MkI at last year's Silverstone Classic) was tragically killed, along with four others in a plane crash earlier this year. He competed at Le Mans ten times from 1984 to 1995 and later broadcasted at the event.

A Lola T70 MkIIIB, which competed at Le Mans in 1969 at the hands of Masten Gregory and Jo Bonnier will also  feature in the parade.
