The Midland Automobile Club will organise a Peter Collins celebration during its British Hillclimb Championship at Shelsley Walsh on August 16-17.

In addition to the plethora of modern racers, a number of cars piloted by the late racing driver will attend the event.

Collins' Cooper 500 of the late 1940s and Works Talbot Sunbeam of the 1950s will be present at the event, along with several Ferraris, Aston Martins and HMWs.

Lewis Garrad (pictured alongside Collins in the Sunbeam's passenger seat) who was Collin's co-driver in 1954, will make an appearance at the event, as will Collins' widow Louise.
